I got good news and bad news: Good news: i can do backflips now Bad news: i broke my expensive lamps

I learned the backflip thanks to this tutorial, it took me 5 days, 1 hour a day of practice. Like 40 tries a day

I’m just too scared and I don’t know why. I always take risks, I’ve climbed a cliff with my damn flip flops on, I’ve jumped off of bridges without knowing how deep the water is (I might just be dumb), I’ve done a lot of backflips into water but I’m still too afraid to do it on the ground.

Backflip for people who have 0 experience most of it is training out the fear and knowing good form with arms tucking and how to jump well. But yes once you learn your first flip well enough to go on concrete mine was the backflip all other flips are easier to learn. Flips are for the most part practice praxtice practice. So anyway... I watched this tutorial step by step and completed every stage of the backflip watching the video as I went. But anyway I was stupid enough to do this without thinking about it (and also cause the video never warned you) to put your whole arm+hand out underneath you instead of putting your elbow underneath when doing the backflip and my arm made an awful cracking sound and it really hurt, now my arm is really stuffed up and it’s really hurt, So just a warning! DON’T BE STUPID LIKE ME

No matter how many backflip videos we watch we still feel afraid.. lol

This is the best video I've ever found on how to do a backflip. And i've watched MANY. Everything needed to teach yourself I have! A mattress, space, and a bin bag! I dont need a trampoline and all that stuff.

My roof is low and I'm scared of hitting my feet on the roof I can back flip flat outside grass and concrete but in the UK it rains alot so I can barely flip outside

Hey bro that’s was very well explained im looking to start doing this again I used to do backflips when I was a teenager for a couple of years but I stopped because I tried inside my parents is house and I panic with the ceiling but I’m trying to get back to do this now 30 plus yeas later I’ll try to keep you posted when I get started I’m very into martial arts and this is something that I’ll like to bring back to my experience and practices.
