I just got my first pressure pot and this seems like a really helpful idea! But I'm worried, could this cause any kind of warping or damage to the structure of the pot or its safety? I am still new to this and the fact that it's a potential bomb in my home has me really on edge lol

you can just cut a circle out of the thick piece of cardboard and set it in the bottom of the tank. once the cardboard is wedged in tight it will not move. or you can pour silicone rubber in the bottom of the tank

The resin will not cause any damage to the pot. This is how I leveled my pressure pot. Plus, you should only be using your pressure pot at maybe 30psi max for resin purposes. Even the cheapest pressure pot I've seen is 60psi maximum. Your pressure pot will be fine as long as you don't go over the max PSI, and for most resin purposes, you won't need to go near 60psi. It is theoretically possible to cause warping damage if you do not use a "deep pour" resin, and the resin is heating up to very hot temperature, but I don't think even that would be likely to cause warping.

You can also use silicone for mold making. If some resin spill, it's an easyer way to clean it up. :3
