Musaddiq has been involved in clinical research for over 15 years. Following his academic research on improving early diagnosis in lung cancer, Musaddiq moved into industry, working on clinical trials across a range of therapeutic areas. He has held varied roles focusing on early phase clinical development programmes at Parexel, Roche, AstraZeneca and Eli Lilly where he is currently Director of Clinical Program Operations in their Exploratory Medicine & Pharmacology group. Musaddiq completed his Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge in 2018 with a dissertation on “Developing a Digital Health Strategy for Early Clinical Development”. Musaddiq has a keen interest in the future of healthcare and how the drug development paradigm needs to change. He enjoys films, books and long walks with his wife and 2 children.
