Solid strategy tips peek. One recommendation: give tips while watching a replay instead of commenting in-game. It should help cut-out the rage against shima's and bad teammates ;)

5:49 is the best, I laughed my ass off, shima misses the killing blow, peek, "im gonna fucking murder you dude" it just has "oh you fucked up now" energy, its like a guy whos fucking with people at a bar spills the drink of a professional boxer

@@nutzz7244 The bureau is the biggest problem, handing out legendary tier to absolutely anyone no matter if you play the game consistently or not

@@Mogamii In theory its supposed to slow you down if you don't have the associated ships and captains unlocked and leveled up but yes, a determined enough noob can still grind and/or pay his way into a legendary ship which I laugh at not because it's an inexeperensed player in a high tier ship but becuase he spent all that time and money to play at what, imo, is the least fun tier to play.

@@177SCmaro It's the least fun tier to play 177Scmaro because of the Bureau lol. Never forget that you can acquire Yamato etc just by waiting if you have the patience for it

@@Mogamii imo the issue is more complicated than that. What you point out is certainly a big factor but I think the nature of the ships at Legendary tier - especially the prevalence of HE spamming high dpm cruisers, overpowered fire and flooding mechanics, overpowered destroyers, combined with the fact that Wargaming seems intent on ramping up their overpen mechanic to the point it almost makes more sense for battleships to forgo AP altogether than just spam HE themselves - inevitably leads to very passive gameplay, island camping, etc.

All my radar cruisers, right by the Cap 💯 (with exception of a few) Tha Suzuya play look sexy how I play it. I will move close for as long as I can and the out to sea I go. Love this Video man. Good shit.

Great video! I agree with some of the others, it might be better if you narrate after the battle. That way you can still slide in the shima smash, but keep it shorter, while commenting and analyzing not team strategy on the mini map. Like “If I had a blue dd here, I could see these guys now and they couldn’t shoot me back.” or what not… also… dd guys… spotting is good. It’s good to spot. Anyway, great video and good info.

Yamato's secondary turrets 2x3 155mm are the exact same mounted on CA Suzuya. So why are they so weak? Yamato's range is only 5.2km, reload takes 12s, fire only AP, damage is 3300. Suzuya's range, depending upon build, is 15.3km, reload takes 7.7s, fire HE and AP, AP is the same as Yamato's with HE causing 2700 damage. The purpose of those turrets on Yamato are to engage DDs and other small craft.

Thanks to your previous insight I have had some of my best games in the Chapayev and got it to elite status last night, I leveled that ship up fast. Great tips, good laughs, and SNH moments from other players. Doing a great job teaching the willing. Wish we could get more to watch you so we could improve player base.

Great vid @peek, If i can i would actually define the 2 commanders category as offensive and defensive, and kind of use the offensive ones on the heavy cruisers, and the defensives one on the light cruisers... Work pretty good tho 😅

Pretty good advice at the end. I don’t really agree with some of your positioning choices in these games and I don’t see cruisers as support ships. Honestly, your teammates need to support what you’re doing not the other way around. Cruisers carry through damage output, killing DDs, taking caps, staying alive, and repositioning appropriately.

what about other T7 cruisers like ablemarle and Edinburgh I'd assume hipper is a cap contester and Martel is a kiter?

How do you know what's made for capping and which is made for kiting? Or should I just experiment with them?

Pretty much. Mostly heavily armored CAs with radar OR Slow shell CL that can lob islands also with radar are good at capping.

How do you fail that hard in the second most broken ship in the game? That Shima player probably should have spent more time a low tier before rushing to unlock a legendary ship.
