Dispersion Bug Confirmed? Commander Reset Fix! 

Yeah it took them so long to realize that the community was actually right because Wargaming literally didn’t believe us that there was an issue lmao.

Just today I was in a Bismarck shooting at another Bismarck about 14km away. They had a sliver of health left and were nearly bow on when my 4 shells arrived. Got a “pitadel” from that one😮🤔

I think it’s a concern that warrants more testing. Knowing wg, I could see a scenario where something ticks off and resets all inspirations. I mean all games have bugs after updates, and seeing how we don’t have detailed stats or training rooms, it’s hard to see a clear cut difference.

@@matthewriley6446 So why does it not reset reload, concealment, rudder or any other measurable commander trait? I’m not saying it isn’t true, I’m saying it’s the less possible outcome like 99.9% not it

@@whereruaaron at least with training rooms coming out "soon", this stuff will be put to the test.

@@kristopher4746 I fully believe there are problems in this game and have said on numerous occasions part of the reason we don’t have training rooms is because we would discover so many bugs or inconsistencies but playing one game and labeling that as bug confirmed is highly irresponsible

I accidentally did the commander build switching on the kansas, and I noticed that I had the one of the best games in a battleship, never payed attention really until like the 5or6 th. Game in kansas when it stopped hitting targets

but that would mean WG has to do something the community likes and that might be good for PR which is not something WG likes

you do realise training rooms is just gonna be random battles without an economy... now if you had an indestructible ship parked somewhere to test firing angles and citadel hits that truely would be a training room... but thats not what were getting dont be so naive. the only way you *may* be able to do what your stating is with a custom built group of 18 friends in one match all being "friendly" to set up said firing angles. Training rooms are gonna be a crap show from wargaming, yes we need training rooms, but wargamming arent giving us what we asked for, it all sounds like random battles without economy and thats it. (i hope im wrong but heh)

@@Kenneth_McGrew have you seen training rooms on PC? you can set up bots that dont move or invite people to your own training room to test things without people moving

Follow what I did in the video. Swapping out everything and then the base commander. And swapping it all back.

I’ve never used the accuracy inspirations. Now that BB’s have access to concealment mod I either go full reload or half reload half concealment or full concealment. On the smaller gunned BB’s I’ve started using Jujard and von Essen.

@@letumpeek so I did this on Otto ciliax, the worst game I’ve ever had with the GK. Then I tied it on Takagi for Yamato, 200k. I usually score anywhere between 100k-250k with those BB. I do use Von Hipper as of late and he working good but Otto use to be great! Can you try on the German bb commanders?

Dispersion is the main stat based on RNG. Rudder, ect are fixed bonuses.

@@177SCmaro you’re sort of right and mostly wrong. Dispersion is a fixed stat. It’s affected by rng yes, but it’s mostly a fixed stat. Max and Minimum.

@@IPeakedAt15 How this potential glitch effects RNG as it relates to dispersion was the issue. This is something that annoys me about people: how they can make a big deal out of something, waste so much time and effort, because they managed to miss a simple detail in the claim. If dispersion is a range based on RNG the RANGE is fixed, the value is not, thus dispersion is not a fixed stat (like rudder shift is), its a variable within a range which, if this glitch is real, effects.

@@177SCmaro okay. Dispersion is a fixed stat. The range isn’t I know that. But the way you’re trying to make it out to be is wrong. You’re not including every detail. Please learn things before you try to start misinforming people.

@@IPeakedAt15 Incorrect, dispersion's range is fixed (and that range varies by ship), dispersion's value, the actual figure, the actual thing that governs where the shells go (in relation to where you aim), is not. This is ment to simulate the real world variations in "spead" on naval artilary. It's based on RNG. And this glitch allegedly effects RNG, meaning it effects how likely you are to get a favorable "roll" of the rng dice resulting in lower dispersion. Dispersion, itself, is a variable, not a fixed state. Only the range or limits are of the variable are fixed. This is why, no matter how much dispersion buffs you throw at most German bb's your dispersion will still not be as good as some of the American bbs, your just giving yourself a better chance of getting the better dispersion range for that specific ship. In other words, it's a bit like having a random number generator but limiting the possible numbers to between 1 and 50 or 1 and 75 or 20 to 80 or 50 to 75, depending on the ship. The range is fixed in each of those examples, what number is rolled is not.

It has a low amount of guns. That’s why. If it had 8-9 it would feel more accurate for you.

That ship worked for 6 months or so and then it went to shit. i use to play it so much but dispersion and overpen crossed their limit. i fukin overpen bbs that were Broadside. Like Jean Bart for example. I even got proof

If you shoot 9 shoots toma BB at 4.7km and get just 1 hit...something is wrong

@@jorgeguanche5327 I agree guns can be useless if they’re even closer at time the movie greyhound would be a perfect example when greyhound was in a dogfight with one of the submarines and they were so close the 5 inch guns couldn’t fire but yeah at 4km I should be accurate as hell

The question is about rng, is there a bug that effects the odds of the % of dispersion in each salvo that resetting fixes? No one is arguing this makes or should make your shells have zero dispersion, just have better "luck" resulting in more shells landing where you aim them.

It cost nothing but the time it takes to swap everything around

Just went to my xbox and went to settings again, I do not see "cross play" turn on/off for Legends on Xbox. If I could take a picture, I would post it here so you can see it.

Then how did Peek get in an Xbox only game if it cant be turned off. LMAO

@@ghettostreamlabs5724 All I can think of is PS players turning off cross play. No option to turn off cross play for xbox, checked multiple times.

No Xbox can turn of cross play. It’s in the account setting labeled privacy and online safety, then Xbox privacy, then view details and customize, then communication & multiplayer, and finally you have the option to block cross network play

Try this on musashi like I did.
