Thanks for the video! My bracket was broken. (3 pieces) Pulled it off and used super glue and baking powder to repair it. Went on to put a thin layer of glue and powder everywhere it didn't interfere with moving parts or mounting side. Stronger than new, I believe. Lol. To unhook and rehook the wire, drop shifter into 1st gear. Helps alot. Works great!

Sprinkle baking powder on super glue and it turns it instantly hard as plastic. It works great to fix cracks in plastic tanks and such. Make parts in a mold.(thin glue then powder, repeat until you get your desired thickness) Works great and can be use it in many applications. Skies the limit. 👍🏻

Great videos pal! I'm pumped about doing some upgrades on my 1994 F150. Quick question... how much did it cost to have your bench seat upholstered?

Joe Casey Thanks! I’m glad you liked them! The exact number was $333.90. I had it done by Gibble Upholstery in Manheim, PA. I’m from the Philadelphia area and two guys here wanted minimum $500. I think at either price it’s worth it. My bench looks and feels fantastic! I get tons of compliments on it. It’s easy to clean too. It will also cost more to buy aftermarket seats and adapt them. Any junkyard bench will not nearly look as good as a upholstered one.

Joe Casey It’s vinyl so pleather. No one can tell it’s vinyl unless I do. When I was picking out the material in the guys shop, he asked me what I use the truck for. It’s my DD and I’m a contractor. He said I wanted vinyl. Once I saw that the vinyl was almost identical to leather, I was sold. He said leather is more prone to tears, clacking, and scratches. He also said for leather to last it requires maintenance, I.e. oiling and cleaning.

Hi i have 95 f150 and i replaced the ignition master cylinder it will start and then when i tried to turn it off it wont turn off at all, what could be the problem , im new to truck thanks

Did you change the master cylinder to get a new key or to fix a no start problem? I would try jiggling the key a lot to see if it will turn off. I haven’t heard of this symptom, but it just could be a break in problem.

Hey my 98 Ford F-250 truck has this misalignment issue but it's not the cable. My cable is fine and I can twist it and it'll move but it's not the cause of my problem. What else can it be? Is there something in the engine bay that needs to be adjusted or do you know other causes? I can move shifter into every gear but gear 1, which is the last one. When I'm in 2 it shows 1 and I can't move any further. Adjusting this cable moves the needle but it doesn't change the fact that when I'm in R it shows D and when I'm in D it'll show 2. Any suggestions? Thanks

You should be able to adjust this cable to make it line up properly. If there isn’t enough adjustments to line it up properly, then the linkage up the transmission must be attached improperly. Look at the drivers side of your transmission. You should see a black cable go to a small hydraulic ram looking piece that then attaches to the side of the transmission. That is your transmission linkage. When you select a gear it operates that part on the side. It could be bolted on incorrectly.

@@TheMinuteMasters hello, thanks for the reply. I can adjust the wheel and it'll line up correctly with Park but then when I move it down to other gears it jumps further then it needs to. I just hear the clicks and that helps me know what gear it's in. All the driving aspects are fine and the car turns on while in park. I've heard some people have to turn it on it with indicator in Neutral. But I'll do what you suggested as see if there's an issue in the engine bay by transmission. Thanks for the info 😎👍

Unfortunately, no. Sometimes you’ll find someone selling them on eBay. You just need to get the correct year range for your truck. I have a video on cluster compatibility.

Thankfully no. I’ve replaced the radiator support and bushings up front. Luckily the mounts were still good. If I remember correctly, body mounts need to be welded on or they have bolt on kits.

You replaced the shifter needle? Popping out of gear sounds more like a transmission issue provided the PRND12 isn’t too far shifted out of alignment.

How do you remove the panel to access the shifter indicator?

Efren Saclolo You whole black panel/gauge cluster bezel is held on by screws, clips, and the headlight knob. The two horizontal gray trim piece pop off and behind them is the screws. Unscrew four of them. The headlight knob pops off once you pry the tab on its underside. If you want to have a more step by step video of it. Is this why my truck only goes into reverse when I hold the shifter lever in between park and reverse is that the problem because I thought my transmission went out

This can definitely be your issue. A lot of times the needle just isn’t pointing at the correct gear. My shifter used to have to be in neutral in order to get the drive gear. Now if you fix the needle and you are still having an issue with your gear selection that’s actually a mechanical issue inside the transmission but it can be fixed if you take the transmission pan off.

Thanks man if I may ask if I pull the pan what should I look for for the fix my truck will go through all the gears expect reverse it revs up like it's in neutral and then grabs and slams into gear and locks back up I guess I should just do a rebuild it has alot of miles and ware

@@brandonrifkin2518 When you have the pan off, have someone move the shifter through the gears. You will see a steel wheel move through several notches. Each notch corresponds to a different gear. Those parts can wear out. If reverse is delayed like that, it could be the fluid pump inside the transmission. Reverse requires the most fluid pressure because it’s the farthest gear back inside the transmission.

That’s a good question. If it’s not digital I would assume that’s probably how it works. I would try taking off some of the trim pieces around the steering column and seeing if you see anything similar.

My Ford Expedition is always stay in "N" for years now. Sometimes just in one place like in D but I'm afraid to remove the access panel.There nothing in any channel how to remove it safely. So since it still go to the right gear and have no problem with it I just ignore it until someone post how to remove it safely.
