I gave this a try. Pretty cool. But, when I end my live stream is says on the player "live video paused and may resume shortly". Then after quite a long time it finally changes to "We are not live at the moment. Please check back later." So, is there a way for it to say "We are not live at the moment" as soon as the live stream has ended? Because I don't want viewers waiting around thinking it's only paused and that I'll be back shortly when in reality I'm done and won't be back until the next live stream.

Hello there, Since you broadcast on your website, there is no bot or system that automatically detects copyright. However, in case the original author finds their intellectual property on your site and files a copyright claim, it could be removed. This has not been an issue thus far so you may rest easy :)
I have the plugin installed and activated and the account connected but when I create a new channel, I dont have the "live streaming box" in the post creation on the top left of the post creation.

Nov 21, 2020. OK, so I am doing a lot of reading on this plugin. I just want to live stream on my website and have a chat option. Not so simple to understand for beginner's.. Can I not just install a player and a chat with a shortcode?

Hi, I did this but just tested it out on browser to start. It just says 'The live stream is paused and may resume shortly' do you have any idea what that's about?
wordpress site says i do not have enough streaming bandwith to start a new event. I have everything set up and i shot one small video and now it wont allow me to shoot another video. Is this an error or is there a easy way around purchasing more bandwith. Thank you
Hello there, Sorry to hear that your live stream stopped! The limit is the amount of resources you have in your account. You may want to upgrade your subscription plan to continue broadcasting.

I made wordpress site on cloudacces, and i cant find wp stream in plugins, what can i do?
I tried the plugin. I registered, but when try to login WPstream Options, it keeps saying "username and password incorrect". Did a couple password change, no luck!. What can I do?
Tried it but it's not working - loading continue when trying to see the broadcast on front end - also I don't find any info on how to display it on the front end
nice tutorial but you should say that ist not free. trial bandwith is only 500 mb after that you need to purchase. i dont mind that but im not even done testing everything and bandwith is already used up
Bah doesnt work for me, well, 99% of the video works... but when I publish the page the page itself turns into a 404 that has nothing in it. Before that happened I named it same as one of my existing pages and then the preview was just my normal page Renamed it and now is a page w nothing.

Without WpStream, you can't stream on your WordPress Website (unless you want to embed from 3rd party's, which leads to your live stream being subject to copyright issues) 🤷 But we appreciate your input anyways 😅

However, you can live stream at lower bitrates and get the same high quality lives as you would with higher bitrates. The key? Adjust your settings!
