Adjusting the pressure after bleeding the house radiators, Since there is no blue wonder switch, it took me a bit oh time to work from the eejits guide, finally got there despite being unable to discern locked padlock and unlocked, my eyesight my fault. The point in the eejits guide where it recommends I ask the installer to show me the procedure, could I just mention, I didnae have time to read the full eejits guide before he left my premises.
You can bleed a radiator until the pressure drops or you can look for a drain point on the pipework and drain there. 1.9 bar for s a little high but you should be ok. If your really unsure call an engineer. If I’m close enough contact me.
@workwithgroup4386 shud we increase to 2bars if needing to bleed my radiators. I have a issue with a radiator in house. every 5mins or so I can hear gurgling noise in the rhe radiator
That allows you to switch from summer mode (hot water on) and winter mode (hot water and heating on) although you should have a thermostat. If you set that you’ll not need to swap that setting.
Mine doesn't have the blue lever. Neither is there a filling loop. The Menu says 'automatic filling' but it doesn't fill whatever I try from the menue. Time to call a plumber!
@@boilerbreakdownexpert thank you for responding. I did sort it by finding the screw which refills the system. A bit of elimination and I found it. Thank you for your response though. Perhaps you could send me your phone number for future reference. 😊
@@clouise8899 I removed the front cover of the boiler . It’s very easy to do as there are only four screws or possibly only two depending on the model I think . You will then see a slotted head screw where the cold water feed pipe enters the boiler . It’s quite easy to trace because the cold water feed pipe is very cold compared to the other pipes . I turned a quarter turn until some water obviously went into the boiler and then I checked the pressure. I kept doing that until the pressure was at the required level which is one bar on my boiler. It’s important not to over-pressurise so a quarter turn for let’s say three or four seconds and then check and then repeat until required pressure is reached. I found a video showing what to do but I can’t find it again so unfortunately I can’t post a link to it .
