I LOVE when you are filming in your kitchen with the sink behind you. I have watched you for YEARS and I don't think you ever really film in this spot and I LOVE it. It really shows the color of your cabinets and I think it just a gorgeous spot to film your unboxing in the kitchen. Also I converted 3 years ago to that brand on amazon and never looked back. The quality is very good.
Shout to go have been my secret weapon for YEARS!!! I have 2 in every purse I own and several in my car. Pro tip: useful in getting spots off your furniture or car carpet, if it doesn’t get set in. Doesn’t work on everything but I have had success using it on lots of spots.

Oh my goodness I can help! I also reacted awfully to mosquito bites UNTIL I found this trick. Take a teaspoon and run the back of it under hot water. Then touch it to the bite for one or two seconds. You will feel a bad sting and you will think you have burned yourself but it is apparently the bite being neutralised. Within about 30 seconds the itch and the reaction will disappear. I can wake up during the night itching with lumps and get up and do this and the next morning there isn't even a red mark, there is nothing there at all. It was honestly a game changer for me.
Thanks for that hint. I feel I’m being eaten alive by mosquitoes this year. I can’t go near my garden without bug spray that i hate using. Going to try this for sure 😊

as a former Avon rep this used to be a solution but they seem to have changed the formula and now not so good! no replacement for Deet tbh although anything lemon based in your shower gels body lotions etc they dont like! i used Korres recently in Greece and they left me alone !

AH TUSCANY! My husband and I just spent 5days in the medievil San gimignano on our big honeymoon trip across Europe(mid august). It was beautiful BUT we struggled with the humidity heat and mosquito's! And therefore we ended having alot of our "plans" tours/horse riding etc cancelled. Struggling with the weather shocked us since we are from a part of Australia that typically hits 45 degrees. So we felt we didn't get to experience and really enjoy everything the area has to offer but ive loved all your hotel recommendations and will plan differently in future 😊

Hi Lydia! I know you mentioned previously that you had a slight pain in your hip from running. Maybe you can ask an orthopedic doctor about a Hyaluronic Acid (HA) injection in your hip. It can help reduce joint pain and improves mobility. Some athletes get HA injections for their hips/knees. Hope this helps. 🫶🏾

I think since the Shout wipes are a US brand is why I’m very familiar with them. Do you have Tide sticks in the UK? Also very good at getting at stains while on the go, it’s the size of a marker. One of the best vacations I ever had was when my parents rented a huge house in Tuscany for a month, and groups of us came in and out for 1-2 weeks at a time (we stayed 2). Start taking Antihistamine tablets a week before yr holidays and while you’re away it really does help. I live in Australia and I’m the same with mozzies bites… my handy hint to you. Hope it helps..
I live in Tuscany and when I see foreign tourists going to these beautiful cities of art like Arezzo but in July I suffer for them because it's so hot that you cant really enjoy your self..but still amazing place ,better in September 😅❤
When I was in Portugal and France last year, the mosquitoes tore me up! I accidentally left my lavender essential oil at home, and by the time I was in the South of France, I realized the mosquitoes were loving my natural, fragrant body bar soap. The ingredients were beautiful and moisturizing. It left a beautiful rosy/fruity scent. Once it was gone, bugs left me alone. Interesting, it’s fine in California. 🤷🏽♀️
could you please share how you use lavender oil against mosquitoes? that is my favourite essential oil and i always have some at home. do you apply it on your pulse points? i have never thought of using it for this purpose
@@dace8828 there are several essential oils that mosquitoes hate, but this is fine on most skins. You wouldn’t put it on your skin, if you’re in the sun, but use lavender products, and sprinkle on clothing. I wear cotton, and it’s never stained. If I wore silk, I’d stick to lavender hand lotion, hand sanitizer, and hydrosol (refreshing on the face as well) from a health food store or skincare. You can buy readymade products, but make sure it’s real lavender, not a perfume. Lavender is one of the most gentle essential oils, but reading how to use it will be a good idea. I worked in a skincare store that we were trained to do blends, by aromatherapists. If you use too much in a hand lotion, your nails will turn yellow. Not harmful, but not cute. Citronella is too harsh for the skin, and I can’t stand the smell. In California, mosquitoes are only a concern as the sun comes up, and sets. Portugal, they’re out all day! Disrespectful! 😜
Such a fun video. I love Italy so much. Your outfits 😍 and so cute to see you sleeping by the pool. I was in FL for two weeks and got eaten alive as well, more so by midges (super tiny flies) and those bites itch so bad and stay itchy for a long time. I am always the one getting bit like crazy out of anyone I know. I got out to the car to go into the hotel, less than a minute, got bit 5 times on my face, I was LIVID. Got home with 22 bites and yes, I drenched myself in repellent. Now I know I won’t go to Tuscany anytime soon 😅

Hi Lydia, I am allergic to the mozzies too. Carry some hydrocortisone which you can buy over the counter. Apply a little on the bit and it will go down. The antihistamine makes me sleepy lol but yes it’s good too

Hi Lydia, Arezzo is where my Father comes from. He came out to Australia when he was 23. He still goes back every year. The Antique fair is much better in the cooler months, it's much bigger. I was there for one in March /April. My recommendation would be to go again when they have one around that time. My sister buys a lot of lovely pieces there quite regularly for house renos etc. She is based in Castiglion Fiorentino and would be more than happy to offer any tips or help when it comes to buying at the fair. I recently spend a lot of money, actually the same amount of money, in two different hotels. One was a luxury hotel in Munich, it was sublime and the second was located in Vienna but on the outskirts… horrible. I spend 2 nights in each place, both times it was a suite and the difference will haunt me forever. The one in Vienna had paper cups and barely enough towels and the bed was made out of MDF. At the end of my 2 night stay there, I told them that this was literally the worst experience considering the money I spend. Nearly 500€ a night and not even a coffee maker in the room nor bottled water… I‘m still in shock.
