No way I’d be able to do this stitch without the video. The instructions in the book aren’t clear and Reddit sent me here. Same with the advanced hand for the doll! Thank you so much for recognising that some people would struggle with these things and demonstrate it via video for us! I would say that a little note in your books to tell people about this channel wouldn’t go amiss 😊

Thakyou so much for simplifying this stitch for me. I was really struggling from other descriptions and tutorials as it doesn't come naturally to me holding my yarn in the regular way, but using my thumb makes it much easier especially getting the loop lengths correct!

Thank you Kerry. It's my first attempt at fur stitch and I'm struggling with Jessie Raccoon. I'm now going to start over. Why I didn't look here first is a mystery! Love your book and am trying to decide which one to get next - spoilt for choice!

Thank you for this video. I just found your book in the U.S. and am trying to do Jake the Chinchilla… reading your explanation was not helpful, but watching you was very helpful. My husband had requested Romulus the Muskox, but needed the loop stitch practice.

Love creating the doggo’s 💕 🐶 Could you please explain or demonstrate how to do loop stitches on every 2nd and/or 3rd stitch.. is it every 2nd or 3rd stitch you are creating or every 2nd or 3rd stitch you are pinning into ?

How do you do the loop stitch when increasing and decreasing? My pattern says to create a loop on every other stitch. When increasing does this mean I make a loop through the first one and not the second? When decreasing do I put my hook through the front of both stitches then make the loop?

It would be useful to see this technique on an increase as I find it hard to locate the same hole with the loop flipped over the front of the fabric.

Hello 👋 I'm working on Don the retriever and the pattern states dc8 loop. Does this mean dc1 then loop stitch 1 and so on or dc8 x of loop stitch please? Thank you 😊

With the Myra Bichon frise dog do you crochet this inside out on the head legs and ears like you said with the money or do you pull the loops through? Just getting confused as my loops don’t look big enough on the head. Thanks

I’m doing Geoff Highland Ter. How does the face form. Is there any loops in back of head?
@TOFT_uk

Hello, there are no loops on the back of the head (where the pattern starts). The pattern works from the back of the head and ends at the nose, with shaping and loops details in the pattern.

How do you pull them tru when you finish?

Hi Edny, You need to bring your loops to the front of your work as you crochet them, like Kerry does in the video, that way they are locked into place and will be on the outside/right side of your animal when you are ready to sew it up! :) Best wishes, Beth - TOFT Customer Service

@@TOFT_uk Actually Kerry said if she is using them "just sparingly" then she can work/bring them to the front of the work; so, if the loops are all over the fabric, is she still pulling them through to the front?
