@@ion063 im trying to imagine how much he had to eat and how little he had to try to do.. to gain those lbs in such short amount of time; let alone the recovery process he endured... yes his payment must have been quite grand:D
I have actually used this unique *2WeightLossFast. Com* for a few weeks by now as well as the final results are remarkable. I still have the vitality I need without having suppressing my desire for foods without having making me really feel jittery. I have not changed anything else I am doing and also have dropped 7 lbs. .
As someone who was 370 pounds and now at 230 pounds...I applaud this guy, because I'm always saying "don't ever let skinny people tell you how to lose weight". The trainer has a different perspective now. That's awesome.
@@zeno1298 most skinny people I know can eat anything they want without gaining weight. I know some skinny people that are actively trying to gain weight by overeating, but still barely gain anything.
White Okay ru-vid.comUgkx6K7NWahp9y3ir1gVAwysOCHOOPSnWZbw . I got it from my browser's history. I know that it's really frustrating to be over-weighted but all is possible with a strong determination. Good luck…..

you dont bulk putting on 15 pounds a month. anyone who knows anything about fitness knows gaining anything more then 2-3 pounds a month is gonna be mostly fat. so i guess you could say "dirty bulk" but it did not benefit the trainer in any way but loosing muscle in the end cutting the fat off

I just love this story for a number of reasons. The love, his selfless care, his commitment, his loyalty, his faith, everything is exemplified here. What a story!!! Congratulations, you are my hero!

I am a nine year old girl I have a Herbalife shake for breakfast every day I can do ten push-ups more as well you are only allowed to do Ten without stopping I do a workout at least every day even if it is five minutes or half a hour
Ray is such an utter sweetheart. What an epic father he will make. And his wife, joining him along the journey with her love and support? will be an incredible mom as well. Hope the lucky kid gets placed with them soon!
wow what an amazing story I did the tire workout today and about died I'm only about 148lbs I used to be 262 but as I continue to push through these workouts you build muscle in the weight just starts to fall off and muscle starts to shape your body in ways you never thought I think it's such a beautiful Story how these two inspired each other and how the trainer gave up a portion of his life just to understand his client he really must love his job
thank you and now from this last post 5 months ago I am now where I want to be at 130 I am now incorperating lifting and I have never felt better unfortunately I need my gallbladder out which surgery is on March 13th and I am scared because the gym is my drug it is what makes me happy it gives me motivation and happiness so I dont know how I will do then but wish me luck to stay strong and keep my willpower
Any advice as to where to start for other women? (my partner has put on a lot of weight and weighs 40 lbs more than me now) I like the idea of actual workout camps/programmes like the tyre one; I think it'd be more motivational for her.
The hardest part about working out for me was starting. Once I started and had a routine I actually craved the workouts. I remember one day I skipped a workout and it bugged me so much I got up at 1 am and exercised.
I think I developed this too! It was this incessant need to not skip a day. I remember when I was on the Treadmill last year, did it for like 2 months straight, I remember feeling like DAMN I CAN'T MISS OUT ON THIS TODAY!
for me jogging is the active part of losing weight process. It gives me a kick, motivates me. Yes, small portions of good food it is 70/80% of success but without exercises it won't give you that much pleasure and results - in my humble opinion
most of the stuff this man said was heart hitting im only thirteen and this is making me cry because im just thinking about my future and what my kids will think of me if i dont lose weight.
Man I wish I could find someone like jj to be active with and hang with. Losing weight And dealing with being overweight isn’t easy. This video just inspires me and tells me that it’s hard but possible
Lol 4 months inst long enough to destroy a lifetime of building them like him. I’m sure he lost some but good for him for building a great body that can still bounce back after that kind of abuse.
Man that feeling of losing weight and being active is truely the only drug a person needs. It's hard for the first 2 months but it becomes second nature once it gets rolling.
As a fat kid this is actually really motivational cause all the other excercise videos are buff men taht have no idea how it feels to excersise while being fat
A commendable effort although hardly comparable to people who have been overweight their entire lives; I imagine it's quite a monumental challenge transforming your life after years, and possibly decades of being overweight, than undertaking such a feat after a few mere months.
I'm 35 and I've been running for an hour, 5 times a week, since december. In february i had a stroke, no reason, maybe my blood likes to clot. But i kept on working and ive lost 42 lbs. My start weight was 237 lbs and now 195 lbs. The pandemic and my stroke have stopped my weight loss kind of in the middle but now I'm back to working out.
Damn that PT sacrificed his physique to better understand what the overweight people feel and how they struggle during the weight loss process. He also did it to help that overweight person feel motivated throughout the whole time. Huge respect for that individual for doing it.
For him to gain 60 pounds just to understand what it’s like to be overweight like his client is very overwhelming and it definitely shows his empathy not only as a trainer but also as a friend.
This is nice and all but it's much easier for someone who has remained fit throughout their life to lose weight they have gained post adolescence. Someone who has been fat for their whole life, which Ray likely was, will have a much harder time dropping weight. Take nothing away from JJ though.
That breaks my heart that this man would do such a task for his kids. so that his kids grow up haveing a dad as a friend and inspiration. my dads 400 lbs and yells a lot because he’s miserable. he makes me stress eat. i’m pushing 240 and just 5’10”. i wish my dad would do thag for me. my childhood would have been so much happier and fit.
Massive respect for this trainer. I went through two transformations, in one of which I lost 50 pounds through dieting and intermittent fasting. And it was not easy. With Covid and staying home I’ve gained some weight again, and now I am going through another transformation. This stuff isn’t easy. And the fact he did it on purpose is mind blowing!
He'll make a ton of money off it, and get lots of new clients after all the media coverage...Trust me it wasn't just for that guy, it was to promote himself...Sometimes u got to put yourself out there so u can thrive at your profession...When he explains what he did with before, after then the after, AFTER where he is back and looking better than ever those clients will pay him good money to have a man that dedicated as their trainer...A guy like that motivates me and heck i'm not even his client just watching his success and determination motivates me to do keep doing the routine i'm on...
Me during quarantine at night watching this: hmmm 🤔 I think I might start running outside to lose some weight... The next day: hmm... it’s too hot out, nevermind running outside
This is so true I went from fit to fat a couple of times in the last year because I was going through a dark time , But I can tell you that when your fit you feel better , look better and just a better time
i dont think people understand what that would do mentally to someone who was so serious about their body to get like that and then start to get back to where he was, thats a long hard journey.
The diet gets easier as you go along. Your body gets used to the changes, portions and belly shrinks . The EXERCISE and committing is the hardest. If you get through 3 months straight you got it. My body craved exercise and I started feeling guilty if I didn't.
Fair play to the trainer, and also to the overweight guy. I put on a ton of weight over 2 years and come March this year really started to sort out my eating as my portion sizes were crazy. Started a very basic bodyweight workout 3 days a week a few months in and started to walk a lot - lost 35kg / 77lbs in around :) While the videos are not related to weight loss at all, hopefully you can see the difference in my face in some of my more recent videos vs. 1yr ago on my channel. You just need to start, take it one day at a time and once you begin to see results it's a real amazing motivator.
Beautiful story. This was done by an Australian guy and he gained so much popularly for it. He mad low budget documentary but he did gaim shit towns of weight to understand his clients and lost it. This is probably where he got this from. Smart move to separate himself from the rest of the trainers. Not easy what he did but most likely did it for his business
Yeah, he has a good body structure, decent musculature and facial structure to begin with. Guys like this can get away with a fair amount of fat gain and still look good.
@Luis Z Wdym why are you a man saying this? First, you just assumed his gender, second, a man can complement a man without it being gay, third, even if he was gay, what would be the problem?
@Illuminlast _ I'm straight but I hate homophobic people, like bruh a man can compliment another man, and it doesn't have to be gay, and even if that man was gay, why would it matter? (Btw I'm talking about the other guy.
Great job guys. Trained 1 whole year in 2020, 20%+ fat to 10%, gained 5kg lean mass. Don't underestimate the consistency of 1 year, it can change your life completely
I was 260 when I noticed I’m a beast after pushing myself pass my limits for 30 days straight I finally got my dream bot if i was able then so are you !
Paul 'PJ' James did this in 2009 in a documentary that you can find online called Fit to Fat and Back gaining 90 lbs in 6 months in order to understand obesity on a personal level and empathize with his overweight clients, and getting back to fit in another 6 months.
