I fell in love with sewing and fashion the last year my dad was never around and my mom was trying her best to make up for my dad being a trash ball and just put me in sports all year round I wish I would’ve found sewing earlier!! I am hoping to make my own brand soon reworking denim. W.A.R.
thank you so much for this idea! i have been trying to figure out how to embroider on a wool beret with a brother se600 but i tried putting the embroidery hoop on it for about an hr with no luck (because of the thickness!) this is so helpful for me!

❤Wow, thank you for sharing, I've always wondered if such small things would be possible & you my friend proved it! I've been thinking about getting one of these machines to start off with, & hats was always a question since I have plenty of them vinyl & sublimation is a definite, but I want to explore further❤ Thanks again although this was 2 yrs ago lol hats seem to be still popular 😂
it didn't ruin this hat but this is also for my 10 yr old son. If you're worried about pins making holes or ruining the overall shape of the hat don't use them. The sticky adhesive can hold it down enough just make sure to watch it and press it down if it starts to move.
If you use a cotton hat it's easy to bend back. I didn't have a problem with bent creases. I guess it depends on the hat you're using and what material.
yes, the design would be smaller but it's a hat so you don't need them much larger. May be even easier since the hoop is small. You can probably hoop the entire hat and omit the pins. I'd have to try.

I think so. I know some have mentioned it can ruin the hat but you can buy hats meant for embroidery including trucker so the holes wont be prominent. Now I'm not selling these and made for my 5 year old son too.
must be a different way to do it because on this way you damaged already the hat...needles holes everywhere around... front hat shape is not like must suppose to look...
I didn't have holes maybe the hat you're using? You can just not add pins. The sticky stabilizer does the trick for me without pins too. I also use painters tape to secure certain parts and even hair clips. You don't have to use pins

yea this is just a standard hat for my 10 year old son. If you want professional embroidery you would want to purchase an industrial embroidery machine made for embroidery on hats.
