I have a question that has yet been answered and maybe you have a video on it that I might not know of 🤔 but can people live stream on both RU-vid and Twitch at the same time and if so what or how do I go about streaming on both at the same time? So far I already know Twitch partners can't live stream on both at the same time.
@Wild4Games one thing I'd like to add to your tips on getting $50 for each subs and bits. You need twice as many subs as you state in the video because you as the streamer only see half of the sub cost. So, you'd need to set your sub goal to 40 per month to end up with $50 in your pocket.
My main interests are in interactive chat bots to soft pitch the idea of subscribing, donating, etc, but also to inject a little bit of direct interaction with the chat following. :), My main well to draw on though I would have to say would be being genuinely grateful for the audience you have. Appreciate them, and they'll appreciate you!
If you are an Affiliate and above you can't multi-stream to different platforms ( it breaks the Twitch TOS) - If you want to multistream, you can use a program like Restream.io ( I have a video on it) check it out

HERE IS MY TIP So first off I have a system were I play with the top cheerer And I also I have a cheer jar where if you cheer the bits fall into the jar, and I have tons of people come in and donate just to fill up the jar
I was reading to see if anyone added this. I watch IllWillPress and he puts the streams on RU-vid. It's a small thing but he has the bits (or at least was trying to) fall into the characters coffee cup so it is like she is always drinking. I thought that was amusing and quite worth the effort.
Not going to lie, I used to avoid videos like this. Not sure if it was a pride thing, or what. But I finally decided to watch one of these and I'm glad I did. You gave great tips and ideas. Thank you for that!

Love your videos. We started Twitch streaming 3 months ago. Picked up affiliate in about 2 weeks. Have cleared about $720 so far. Your videos have really helped. RU-vid is just vod storage for us these days. The only secret you need is being able to effectively interact with your chat. So many streamers out there do not and blame the platform for their lack of success. Individuals want to be interacted with. People are social creatures.

@@Wild4 I mean we do try to help people. After 9 years in the Marine Corps, I tend to be pretty straightforward. Peeps get butthurt when you tell them to quit chewing on their mic and learn to read their chat. Lul. True or not, they don't want to hear it from a friend.

I had a 2 week break from streaming and have been thinking about what to do next with my stream. Im going to get on a stream grind now. You gave me the idea of doing a dub goal and at the end i will use a facecam
One of the streamers I used to watch went on a little rant on how if shes a stream with donation or bit goals on their stream she insta clicks off their stream. Says it's begging. Needless to say I don't watch her anymore she had a hard complex of clearly thinking she was better then everyone else.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and styles. But I personal don't see anything wrong with supporting someone that is creating content that I can consuming.

I stream BDO through my ps4 I got 74 followers in just 2 months without a crazy layout or anything like that. I can’t even imagine what it’ll be like when I make a setup and stream through my capture card when I get my MacBook lol
Seen your videos for a couple days on my feed, I was worried they’d be misleading due to YTs algorithm usually pushing that, but this video is great. Hey. One thing I recommend before uping the bit min is look at where most your views come from. A lot of my viewers are on mobile. And most just give me bits from ads. Sometimes they only get 2 bits and can watvh 1 or 2 ads. So they wont hit that 5 mark. Just a thought. But anotger great video bro.

You don't need to start out spending a ton of cash on your stream, especially before you hit Affiliate. Use free resources. For example, if you've got a Mac or PC and want to start streaming your PS4, you can use your computer to setup a nice stream using nothing but free software. No extra hardware, like a capture card, is required. Once you've established yourself, and you decide this is something you want to do either as a primary or secondary source of income, that's when you can start investing in gear. If you're going to stream games directly from your computer, make sure you've got a beefy enough CPU/GPU to handle the extra load streaming puts on top of the gameplay itself.
@@Wild4 Absolutely! If you happen to have buckets of cash just lying around, then by all means, splurge on gear. However, if you're like the rest of us mere mortals, start by using the resources you've already got on hand. I did just that, and have started a video series on the subject on my channel.
@@Swa666city I've got a video series on my channel explaining how to do it using a Mac and PS4. The same holds true for PC, except you don't need the iShowU audio capture drivers since you can drive the game audio to your stream natively on Windows.
One tip that helped me get over a larger audience is turning off the sign which shows you how many current viewers I had. Helped me focus on my content and being myself!

How do you set specific alerts for specific notifications? Like an alerts for a tier 2 sub or a 500 bit donation compared to a 100 bit donation? Also how do you set up goals that auto update?

I recently became an affiliate but was thinking about stopping streaming because if I get viewers, they don’t chat, and I get subs every once in a while but subs don’t really matter if u can’t get $100 worth of them... it just seems so impossible to earn money unless people directly donate to me (which has never happened..yet..)

While I get your reasoning, setting the minimum bit cheer amount to 5 instead of 1 does not give you 5 times as much bits in general. People that want to cheer 100 bits will not start cheering 500 bits because of that, and those contribute towards your monthly goal way more. Oh, and 50k bits equals $500, so you only need 5k per month. Yay!
I 100% agree that going from1 to 100 or 500 will not be a guarantee (like I said in the video, "dont be greedy") But you will see in increase at the lower end from 1 to 5 or 1 to 10 (because viewers like it when you acknowledge them and there message) Give it a go you might be surprised at the results. Speaking be tuff on YT :P Yeah Derp the math - But you idea behind it 💪
Did all of those (have 4 sub , 7 bit, 7 donation, 4 follow, 7 raid, 4 host alert variations, my donation goals are with a goal "medication and bills", I have the top bit donation extention and bit leaderboard, reminders are active) exept one - mobile phone sub option. Since nothing helped me get more than 500bits per month and around 5 subs average, I'll try adding the mobile sub thing as well. Thank you for the video, Wild4Games
@@Wild4 currently the cannon is just a homemade compressed air cannon. The cannon is linked to a raspberry pi. When the cannon is turned on, the pi authenticates with my twitch and then watches for tip (streamlabs API) and bit ( twitch API). When the set goal is reached, the pi sends a fire signal for the cannon. Then I just log into the cannon web host and reset the cannon goal. Also working in a sub counter as well and a mini cannon for subs (currently use party poppers) so that is automated too.
Wait, isn’t 5000 bits equal to $50? I have wasn’t 1200 bits and it says I have $12... Please help because you said 50000 bits is $50 and I think it is 5000 bits for $50

Think about something you like to do other than playing video games and find a way to incorporate that into a channel. Gotta show the world how you're different from the other thousand of streamers who are trying to get views and followers.
The only thing that threw me off was when you mentioned the goal was to get 50,000 bits to get to the $50 mark. Pretty sure You put an extra 0 there. Five thousand bits are $50. But hey, if I somehow manage to get 50,000 bits, basically $500 a month, that would be fantastic. Baby steps, though. Other than that little nitpick, it's a good video and great advice.
