I think you missed the point of having an airboat when you put that rudder in the back of the boat. If you were going to do that you might as well put propellers on it.

The battery should be installed with stand above the floor, during the actual sailing the water sometimes enter the boat.

great boat, but the whole point of an airboat is so there are no low hanging rudders to get caught on stuff when you run something over. keep up the great work man you are great motivation for me!

Should have put the wire in plastic conduit. If the wire wears against the aluminum of the boat that's not going to be furn.

Now u need 2 or 3 solar panels to charge batt when ur out on it ! Very cool!🤗

10 inches prop is too big for brush high speed motors. you have low efficiency with high current drains. put gearbox on them and you have much more trust

A good seaman KNOWS how to tie a proper knot...the ends of the steering line should never be frayed...apart from that, very good...[from] a charter yacht skipper...the pic is of my '72's vintage ferry.

The hull design seems to be a limiting factor. I'm no expert, but a slightly bigger and flatter hull would make it more efficient, IMO. Also, if the motors were made to pivot, you wouldn't need a rudder hanging below the bottom of the hull. Or have rudders behind the props like a standard airboat. I like the build, though. I spend too much time agonizing over measuring and fitting when I build stuff; this guy seems to do a lot just eyeballing things.

Nice work but Air boats don't have rudders. If you install a rudder might as well install an outboard motor.

If anyone is making anything with aluminum, be careful while wielding aluminum tends to do weird stuff

Wow awesome build how cool

Nice work! However, the whole idea of an airboat is to go in very shallow water with weeds. Your rudder prevents that. The propellers could be wired to run only the outside on one side only to steer. OR, wire in the ability to reverse one side or the other while staying in forward on the opposite side. Lose the rudder! Manage the airflow to steer the boat.

@Creative Channel you do not need a rudder system, because you have 4 banks of 2 controlled fans per switch, all that you need to do is, turn on the fans on the side opposite of the direction in which you want to go (the fans will push your boat in that direction you want) and turn off the fans on the other side, and now lets just say that you want to go on an angle, you would turn on 3 sets of fans (2) on the opposite side in which you want to head to, and (1) set of fans on the outside for resistance.

I think I'm more impressed by how clean and neat his shop is. Mine is a mess.

Still can make it much better, 1) Rust ( or ) Holes easily get in few days, 2) If Rain comes ? Cover u r boat , 3) Wear Life jacket 4) u hv made Handle exLator on wood pad, change it or make it save 4m rain, 5) Also cover MCB make u r self 4m electric shock.

Add solar panels to charge and run the battery is a great option.

There is usefull point by this air board .it take high rpm and much energy .better attaching one another shaft and put in to under water .energy will save

Why don't you use Brushless Motor? Use Brushless Motor and ESC. To control like yours use 4 servo tester. It will be great and more powerful if you use Brushless Motor.
