this was actually really helpful thanks! but i’m now trying to get the drop right, i understand how to make the beginning from this vid ns was able to play with it to give it my own style ig, what i don’t know is how to actually make a good drop or "rest of the song" after the come up. i don’t know if I was able to explain it but i need help 😅
I get what you mean! I'll do another tutorial but for me, the drop is when I add bass and more drums. It's really hard to explain because I approach every song differently.
On all the samples you add to the track, there's a small wavelength icon next to the name of the track. Click it and go to automation for panning and volume. To get the automation for effects, click the track and change the track number. Then open the mixer and add your effect. Right-click the circle in the mixer (the one next to your effect) and click 'create automation clip'. It will be the length of the entire song, so just cut it to your desired length. I can do a tutorial if that's not helpful :)
Is a good program, though could not get fruity loops to play nice with me somehow, just didn't get along with it, Ableton always seemed more intuitive to my funny old brain and less fiddly.
Do you have any tips on finding samples? Obviously there is stuff like looperman or samplefocus for one-shot samples, but I never manage to find just what im looking for, especially not longer samples or whole songs like this.
hiya! ngl I don't really know any free DAWs that I like but i'm sure a quick google search will help you find a free fl studio download hint hint nudge nudge. BUT! If you're looking for a cheap DAW, try Soundtrap :)
at a base breakcore is high bpm derived from drum and bass and jungle, this has alot of jungle sounds and amen breaks and synths. breakcore is more of a subgenre than genre itself
