One note, on the foam...you can hot glue the foam to the container, you don't have to tape down and is very secure for transport. Glue before you wet the foam, you cannot glue wet foam. Drop the whole tray into a sink of water.
Hi John, this is elegant, graceful, lush, and in my favorite colors. Love it. At the end I noticed the purple glass container on your shelf and wondered what kind of flowers would look great in it? Maybe purple, lavender, white, and some splashes of orange or gold? THANK YOU for being so inspirational to my creative side. ;0)
Jean Vignes ah, I think I see the one you mean. It’s an oval ceramic deep bowl with wave like pattern. I found that in a charity shop and it’s handmade. I have used it with a pinholder and little sunflowers and grasses for a tall summer design, but I love you suggestion of orange and purple! Great choice 😀
Just been watching your online tutorial for the Christmas arrangement. I once had someone tear a strip off me for putting white and red flowers together. But I assume you hedge your bets by putting the gold poinsettia in so that it has another colour. And no one can accuse you of bringing death to the household that way.
It’s so funny - people are suspicious - but my understanding is it’s not appropriate for hospitals but fine for Christmas and Valentines 😀 but yes, add a third element and you are covered 🙋🏼♂️😆
