A black mask with red eyes with like LEDs around the rims would be an awesome twist to the mask, granted that you use a thicker plastic fir the eyes so it's more opaque

I've printed this mask and fitted some magnets on the last back part but its still quite hard to fit on adult head (even after heating the inside). But still its a great design!

Oh that's awesome! No I couldn't see through. I'm debating on taking a drill bit and making really thin holes so I can see through it that or finding some red plexiglass that I can heat up and shape

+Ben Turner no prob. Use a really thin drill bit and you should be able to make a bunch of small holes

Hi Uncle Jessy, for those who are interested in your builds, but don't have access to 3D printing, is it possible to somehow have templates available so that it can be made out of recyclable material like cardboard, and always great work!

I've been working on this one this week. What sort of dremel attachment did you use for clean up? Also, I'm thinking of adding magnets to the third and fourth (rear) section rather than between the 2nd and 3rd section to make the seam between two sections less visible

Oh I like that Magneto suggestion. Not 100% sure what the dremel bit ... i believe its called a steel cutting bit - Its long thin and almost looks like a screw thread and works great for cleaning up prints.... now that I think about it... So you use the BQ Witbox fro your printing. How would you recommend that printer compared to others on the market? Im looking to getting a new printer and interested in doing projects similar to what you do.

Andre Gonzalez if you can find a Witbox for under $1000 I'd highly recommend it. Also checkout my CR-10 video. Loving that big printer for $500. Obviously check out the Prusa MK2. That is like the go to printer at the moment.

Uncle Jessy Very interesting, could you perhaps share the details of your print with me then? I have put the files into Simplify3D myself but for just one part it takes 10 hours or more, and I do really want to make this helmet, as I have previously printed two of the four parts, and do not wish to leave a project such as this unfinished

Wasn't the yellow and red helmet just for the first 5 or so Daredevil comics? I can't exactly remember which issue it was, but I think Frank Miller only started doing Daredevil comics around #158 or so.

do you see any of those scanlines up close? alot of 3d prints you can see scanlines. I want a printer that can make almost human like faces does a printer like that exist yet?

SLA or a objet hybrid printer are about as close as your going to get. Though both are vary expensive to own and operate (a Objet30 pro will run you about 20k and both use UV resins which runs from 60USD to 150USD per 500ml's). Prop wise the striations are not really a issue, just alot of bondo and sanding.

Hey brother have you tried using plasti dip for painting your helmets I think that would give a much cleaner color cover. Just a suggestion! Your helmets are freaking awesome keep it up man

Personally I wouldnt of don't the base as a black, I'd of starter with dark red and then covered it with tape apart from the parts I need black, more complex but oh well

I think he uses a pretty expensive printer. I personally would recommend the robo 3D r1 plus. It's got great quality and a really big build volume, and by big I mean able to print this whole thing in one print. It's also got a heated glass print bed and a hexagon extruder. The refurbished version is on sale for 499 right now.

But just one thing is out of all the work Frank Miller has done with daredevil the yellow suit has just been one panel of his limited series is the man without fear which he did not even draw it John Romita Jr drew it Bill Everett and Stan lee made the iconic yellow suit just to let you know not trying to be a jerk or anything Love your videos!
