@@CReevesMakes I have a mahogany platform full size bed that I made with him when I was 14. It was my first post-twin bed. It is still the bed in my spare room, 44 years later. 👨👧
Awesomeness. I miss those times with my daughter. She's almost 30 now but I still have those memories of her and I doing things together. Well done sir, well done.
What another great build with Rebecca. This was way beyond a modern design stool. She really nailed it on this one. Excellent design, including the grain flow, as well as execution. She looked like she had so much fun with her dad. Nice to see these days. Again, I thought how adorable she is and I had to laugh while watching her work- of all those young fellas that’ll be calling on her soon she’ll intimidate a good portion of them with her new skills! At least she’ll weed out the weaker ones first, huh Dad? 😝. Her skills, knowledge, and confidence are growing every time you work with her and it’s noticeable. You’re doing a great job, Casey, and y’all are making some awesome projects. Looking forward to seeing you and your son collaborate on that desk. Thanks for uploading this. And a gold star to Miss Rebecca. She keeps this up we’ll be expecting a custom theater room next. 😜 Troy
Thank you so much Troy! Yes, she is a ball of fun and energy and I love hanging with her. I try not to think of the days when she will be heading out on her own but I am happy to give her as much as I can to be prepared! Thanks for watching and for the nice comment Troy! 🙏🏻
What an amazing video love videos like this watching fathers work with their kids to build stuff Rebecca did an awesome job and came up with a beautiful design. I used to do woodworking with my grandfather when I was a kid best memories of my life and now I’ve gotten back into woodworking as an old man looking for them memories again and hopefully to make some with my nephews and my niece. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 definitely more videos like this would be great
Thank you very much Jim! I love all of the projects that I have done with the kiddos. We sign the inside of each one and date it just for fun. Someday in the future when they have to move these things in their houses, they will see those notes and dates and remember building with Dad. ❤️👍🏻
My baby girl just turned 11. I bought her the pink tool box with starter tools at Lowe's several years ago. Whenever I have a chance to work on something with her, I have her pull out her toolbox, put on the safety glasses and work apron to do things with her.
Awe! Yeah we kind of started the same way. When she was little, we would go to Home Depot for the kids craft days and build little projects. Had a blast and still do! Thanks for watching
Wow, this is just so awesome - I BET you are proud! On top of everything else, the desk looks fantastic! You and your daughter win the internet for today. :)
Thanks brother! I appreciate that. I am just glad that I get to spend this time with her and make these moments and memories. Thanks so much for watching!
How awesome to have such a special relationship with your daughter. You’re a very lucky dad and she’s a very lucky daughter. Well done both of you on the great desk you built
I am also a carpenter by trade. I also have two daughters (they are smaller than yours) and I hope that at least one of them will be drawn to carpentry. In the futur. Ask your daughter to cover her hair when she works in the workshop! - there is usually a lot of powder in suspension from the wood material. Greetings and good luck with the projects!
Hi, great channel, unfortunately because of RU-vid and their live thumbnail previews which are so annoying, I won't be watching any more channels until they give us the option to turn them off, keep up the good work, hopefully it will change soon.
