Excellent bit of kit Billy . My bait wrapping/loading tool is 2 lengths of whisk wire stuck into a champagne cork. Works a treat. More videos on home brewed kit please.
Thanks sir Billy ! Yer a gid man , when I had said before I never had the link , I realised the next time you done it , it was on RU-vid not my email lol 😅👍
Brilliant that is thanks Billy 👍🏼 I’m also sure you can read minds as I was going to buy one this week for assists! that’s not the first time I’ve been thinking about something and then see you had just made a video about it! 🤣 Great work and videos 😎🎣
A video right up my street. Only just got back into fishing after 2 decades. Caught my first two fish (this time around) on a rod and reel I made myself (estuary so no big casts). Also just been laid up with a virus this past week. So I've made myself a fishing box out of garden bamboo canes and and old rucksack. I'm terrible at sorting my kit after a session so my newbox will allow everything to dry out. Look forward to seeing more videos like this 👍
Hi Billy glad to see that you are safe and well.. what can one say about this video.. expect you never disappoint. By Your videos are always informative for novice and experienced fisher persons alike.. Anyway mate stay safe and well.. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.👍 I'm looking forward to the next installment of Billy's fishing ..😋
Great tip Billy, being a one time mad keen fly fishing fanatic and fly tyre I have half a dozen bobbins at home. But still a great addition to anyone’s kit. As you say, it acts as an extra hand. Thanks Billy🐟🇳🇴
I'll have to see if i can scrounge some tig welding stainless wire from work. If not "Jann's Netcraft "has stainless wire shafts 25 -12" shafts for $5.89 . This is an old catalog so they may have gone up since 2021.
Good video, informative, it's good to make and use your own gear, something satisfying about making something that's fit for purpose and actually works. Cheers Billy 🍺🍺👍. Mark.
