In this video, we will show you how to make a keyhole router bit jig using scrap wood. This simple woodworking jig will help guide your router when making keyhole slots and help make perfectly level keyholes for hanging plaques or picture frames flat against the wall without hanging hardware. I am using a Bosch trim router but any good router will work.
Hopefully you all find the video helpful and interesting.

I never knew anything like this was even out there, I'm getting one, I needed this on my last CNC job.

@@johnstuart9965 yeah it’s hand when you really need it. Usually used for hanging items on the wall with just a nail with a big head or a screw.

That's a lovely neat little jig mate, but I think your centre line and stop line refinements are the most ingenious part of it! Thanks Harki, super vid.

Nice and easy. Kreg screws work great as hangers for these too with their wide heads.

Brilliant jig Harki. I was wondering at what stage to remove the router up after making the cut, thinking that it would make 2 holes, lol!

How deep do you have you bit set?

Depends on your workpiece and the screws you use to hang the workpiece. Best to test it out in scrap wood first. I had it just over half an inch as my workpiece was 3/4” thick
