I think that's going a bit far I mean sure she may have impacted that kids life and made things a little more bearable for her but maybe not the community as a whole. Like there is a limit to how much personal affect can change

I don't know that I'd agree with that. Often you don't really know much about a person before getting to know them, if you haven't made an impression on a person they're not really going to spend much time trying to get to know you, right?
