How To Make A Quick TV Stand

In this video I construct a Television Stand using some scrap MDF (medium density fiberboard) that i had left over from another project. Since this TV was mounted on the wall before, I tossed the original table stand away. this is a cheap alternative to trying to find the replacement part or other store bought stands.
WARNING: Please use common sense when constructing this type or any type of potentially dangerous projects. BE SMART, HAVE FUN, BUT STAY SAFE!

I'm doing something like this. But using my old 32 inch tv base cause it's sturdier and putting a 19 inch tv on it using the wooden upright idea. Why? cause I have the wall mount bracket on my kitchen wall, that you slide it into. putting another sliding bracket on the upright base,so I can move it to any room or outside that I want to with ease. Not sure if that makes any sense lol. But that way I can move it from the wall, to a table within seconds.

I made a TV stand following your plans here and it came out great. Mine was even heavier as it was for a 40" screen. Supported very well using L brackets on the bottom front and back because of extra weight. Total cost was about $14. Why pay almost $60 for a desk mount stand.

MDF is not great for this, i would recommend a stronger wood, or support it

Great job. Not bashing, just saying, you are putting a lot of faith in a couple of screws and wood that is made of sawdust and glue. If you are going to have kids around then my 2 cents would be to not use this design. Screwing up through the bottom piece into the vertical piece that attaches to the TV is not secure at all.

Too complicated. I am looking for an easy temporary CARDBOARD support to hold up my tv TEMPORARILY. To take less than 5 minutes. I am not looking for a permanent solution at this time. I do not have time.
