I think someone is getting "slip-bobber" and "fixed bobber" confused. This is a fixed bobber rigging. The slip bobber rig allows the bobber to FREELY slide up and down the line, so it slips through the bobber after the cast/pitch.
*These are easy to use and highly visible **enjoyable.fishing** recommend they are extremely valuable for going from a dead drift set up to a float setup. They save time and you don't have to re-tie everything to add a float to your presentation.*
This is not a slip float, you are modifying a slip float into an adjustable fixed float by using tunbing to hold line stationary.please delete and resubmit under a corrected cover line..😢
you could of just added the bolt and ran a tubing top and bottom and had a fix / sliding float and it would of worked fine. you kind of Over thought you idea too much.
You guys half to be on drugs to think that is a good slip bobber rig...it has the same effect as ice...put even 8 ft of line below a slip bobber and it dont slip to the weight to cast its just like a normal bobber here i thought omg some guy figured it out and all he did was jimmy rig a slip bobber to be a normal stationary bobber cause he ran out of knots
ok before i bothered to put a comment i had to check what other ppl had to say and i see most of them like me do not agree with this at all, not to put you down but the whole idea was to find a way for a slip bobber not to freeze up and become a fixed bobber when ice fishing right my dude? well this idea changed nothing bro ,you only ended up putting the line at the bottom and as you can see there is too much tension on the line since you had to pull hard on it, this did not make the line slip through the bobber anymore than what you had to begin with ,both will end up being fixed bobber so you accomplished nothing here other than tying on extra bunch of stuff that got you nowhere, please explain how this helped you because im at a lost on what you accomplished exactly??
