Sour dough is the best! My sour dough-culture celebrated its 24´th birthday two months ago! As long as you feed it regulary it will live forever, and the flavour of real sour dough-bread is unbeatable! Your bread looks fantastic! Rye = love! Just slap on some butter, some nice cheese and/or salty meat and you´re in bread heaven! Lecker!! :D
@@GermanRecipes Haha yes Peter (Thats the name of my sour dough) is part of the family now! I even wanted him as a best man at my wedding, but my wife put her foot down there, since she wanted that position to be filled by my brother. :D
Klas, great videos-------thanks--------------- Here in the US it his hard to find anything like a good German brotchen. A good brotchen recipe would be good.
Most likely if you only had your starter going for 3 days it’s wasn’t close to ready yet to leaven a loaf of bread. You would need to add additional yeast until your starter matures!
