Again job well done,I learn a lot of lesson from your video you really a very good tailor.Just one thing can I use an open toe presser foot to make zigzag?
i have a question...please. My directions say make sure zigzag stitches stay close and tight. What should I put my length and width on. Thank you soooo much .
I have an old machine, Euro Pro X ep380, but has never been used. It only sews a straight line. It doesn't zigzag or anything else. Do you know what the problem could be?
ok but zig zag or straight is just a matter of look or does it have a different function? in other word WHY zig zag stitching other than for the look of it? thank you so much
vivanicola zigzag would be to join to pieces of fabric together as though you were making a shirt or body suit. That’s more for like joining an arm to a torso. A straight stitch is good for a hem or serger stitch to stop your fabric from unraveling at the edge.
zig zag is for stretchy material bc if you used a straight stitch the stitch would snap, and zig zags are also instead of an overlocker (it’s used on seams to prevent the material from fraying)
This very helpful but my machine wont pull the cloth when im using a zig zag stitch i always have to pull the cloth from behind just for it to move :( someone explain pls?
Using your fingers to draw pictures in the air should be beneath your dignity. You are better than that. A whiteboard behind you with simple drawing illustrations would showcase your talent.
