In this tutorial I will walk you through all the steps on how to make these popular Keychains using your Cricut. First, I walk you through in Cricut Design Space some tips how to make your Keychain rounds for free. Next, Cut then Weed. Then, apply the decals to your rounds. I have tried not to seal these with Epoxy. They did not stick well or last because the cuts were so small and thin. There was not enough adhesive to keep them on. So I chose to seal mine with Epoxy. Mix according to the instructions, mine was for 3 minutes. Then apple small amount of epoxy to each round. Then using a stick slowly push and spread the epoxy just up to the edges of the rounds. Epoxy is self limiting and won't go over the edge unless there is way too much epoxy. I did the keyring hole area last. I had many tiny bubbles in mine. I used a heat-gun to get the bubbles out and to smooth the epoxy. This is not something you must do to make this a success but it definitely helps to make them look smooth. Let dry overnight. Apply epoxy to backside of rounds for the ones that have vinyl on both front and back. I added glitter to part of my rounds. Repeat spreading the epoxy to the edges and using the heat-gun to get the bubbles out and smooth. Let cure 3-7 days. Then attach the tassels and keyrings. Enjoy!!! Please note that epoxy is toxic and should be used with care. Please protect yourself. Do your projects outside when possible, wear gloves, long sleeves, goggles and a mask.
