How to make a winter Wood Sign Using your Cricut
In this tutorial I will be sharing with you how I made this adorable winter wood sign using permanent vinyl and my Cricut. I first lightly sanded my wood round. Then using painters tape I marked my stain lines. I used stain and brushed with the grain. Make sure you wipe any excess stain before removing the tape. Next tape on the stain line for the paint lines. I used black chalk paint for the main area. I removed the tape right after I was done painting to avoid peeling/chipping of the paint. While this was drying I created my sign and measured how big my painted area was to size accordingly. Then I cut my vinyl. Before applying my vinyl. I sealed my stain and paint with polycrylic clear coat but feel free to use spray clear coat or varnish. I weeded my decals while my round dried. Then I applied my vinyl to my sealed wood round. Then I used a drill to my hanger holes. Last I made my bow and hot glued my greenery and bow to my wood round. Enjoy!!!
