Here's a look at how to pipe a flat daisy pattern on a cake! For the yellow centers use any round tip such as 6, 8 or 10 and pipe a large dot. For the petals use any petal tip such as 102 or 104. The opening of those tips are shaped like a teardrop. Hold the tip perpendicular to the cake with the wide part of the teardrop on top. Squeeze the bag while holding still to build up a little bit of buttercream. Then while loosening pressure, pull the tip in a straight line towards the center. Continue doing this all the way around the yellow center while spacing your petals slightly apart. Pipe more daisies till you cover the cakes. To finish off, use a small circle tip such as 2, 3 or 4 and pipe tiny dots between the flowers to fill up some of the empty space. Voila!
