This is seriously like the most helpful video I've ever seen on RU-vid. I don't think I'd have ever been able to make an awesome and professional looking outro thanks to you. Awesome stuff bro, keep it up. :D
Click on the textbox (text) using the text tool (the tool that looks like an "A"), highlight the text, then there should be a box over the textbox that is filled with your foreground color (black), click on that, and you can adjust the color, then click done, and you've changed the color for the text.
Damn everything was going smoothly right up until the background part. My background didn't cover everything, it didn't cover anything. It just showed up as a very tiny image. Gotta figure this out!
alright I will, it will probably be out by Monday because I'm taking Sunday off. Sorry I didn't make a tutorial on this sooner, it was heavily requested but I've been putting it off.
If it doesn't work than you could use the freemake video converter or any video converter for that matter and convert it to avi and import it to wax, it's really the only way to get video into your outro, however, the trial of sony vegas should work
BTW everyone who has got stuck with the picture in picture part of this AMAZING video wat u gotta do on i movie is click on imovie at the TOP LEFT of the screen and then go to system preferences then make shore the show advanced tools box has a tick in it if not then just click on it. (i am happy 2 help)
slight change of plans, wax wouldn't accept my jpeg file, so after an hour of messing around with codecs, I just decided to save myself some time and show you how to do it with sony vegas pro (the trial) it's free, and its 10 times easier than wax, so I think you'll like the video, sorry if you already downloaded wax though
the editor would be iMovie and once you have a new project opened you go to iMovie at the top-right and then go to preferences once that is open click show advanced tools, then once you have your photo you photo drag it into the project that you made and then you put your video that you want in your all good :)
no I exported it to a jpeg. All you have to do is go into gimp, open up your file, click file, click export. Then just drag the image into imovie (the .jpeg one) And I'm sort of confused by your last 2 sentences.
I left links in the description, two movie editing softwares that I suggest are the trial of sony vegas pro, and wax. the trial of sony vegas pro works better so I suggest using that
I'm pretty sure using images from iconspedia isn't copyrighted, that's why I put a link to it in the description. However, I use google images all the time in most of my videos, and I have no copyright strikes/claims AND I'm partnered as well. So don't worry about it :D, but if you want to be extra careful then be my guest (I'm just saying it isn't quite necessary)
I'm actually trying to get one STILL on my other channel, I posted like 3 videos all with tv show material, movie clips, songs, and I MONETIZED IT!, and still no copyright strikes? I have no clue what's going on, but I'm still working on getting copy right strikes, I just posted this video because I felt like posting a video on how to make an outro
yeah I realized wax was a shitty program the minute it took 2 hours to render a 4 second video. Check out the second link in the description for a better program (also free)
what version of imovie do you have, I've been told it is only working for people with 2011 or newer. If it doesn't work, use the trial of sony vegas 10
Awesome Video Bro, I only have 2 questions. Does this software work for Lower Thirds animations and second what type of OS or software do you use to make your icons on your desktop at the bottom of your Task bar that moves like that at 12:20 on your video. I just bought myself a Elgato HD it should be here tomorrow for roughly $115. So excited to get this channel up and working
um, quick question...so i made the template how i wanted it to look. but when i open IMovie and try to put the picture in there is no green plus(aka the add button). the format is still a .xcf file just like yours so how come it won't go into IMovie?
love your turtorial man! but I was wondering how to you make the frame of your text box go away, once you create it? that yellow and black line is still there...
wait....wait edition of IMovie are you using in this video? 9.0.8? i have snow leopard so i can only run IMovie version 9.0.4...is the picture in picture feature only available for later versions?
you really don't need a screen shot, I just used that for an example, but if you want that template, just check the first link in the description, and you can download it along with a background, twitter, facebook, and subscribe icon
I don't believe that works, because it doesn't have the picture in picture feature. However, I believe wax works, It's in the description and it's a free movie editing software
You open up iMovie 9.0.9 go to iMovie by the apple logo in the top left hand corner click on preferences and then you click show advanced tools. and it will then give you more options (picture in picture)
Hey dude my vegas pro demo expired and wax wont work for me and i dont have a mac so i was wondering if you could do the video and song part for me i already have the design song file and everything all i need is the video over the template and the song to go with it and if you cant do it i understand, but yea thats all im asking for i have everything ready!!!!!
I am having no luck with wax and can't download Sony Vegas 12 becuase I have to verify my email;however, when I do that the verification link won't let me click on it. ( the link is in black letters instead of being highlighted) Any help?
well I don't enjoy getting sued for copyrighted music...(idk that is just a preference of mine) also that website is quite resourceful, and I can assure you that I am not a hobo.
