Very cute. I made some with lace peeking in between the fabric. It's a little harder to maneuver around the curve but still lovely. Blondie reminds me of my Snow - so naughty but cats do bring a giggle with their antics. Life would be so boring without cats. I can't wait to see what you have for us next week. Have a great time in Paris! I know you're excited and I'm excited for you!
Thanks so much for watching kelly! I do love the lace I think I'm going to give them a go they are really shabby chic! Thanks for your kind words. Il make sure to take tons of pics on Paris x
I loved this video!!! Unfortunately I don't have very creative hands so I probably wouldn't be very good at this, but I loved watching this all the same!!! They add such a feminine look to any house!!
So pretty thanks so much for sharing. You make it look so easy hun I am envious of how good you are on your sewing machine 😉 Love your can-do attitude! xxx
Thank you for sharing this Catherine! Your videos are my favorites on RU-vid and your blog is honestly one of the best on the web. I saw that you made teddy bears with beautiful fabrics, could you make us a tutorial? Again thank you for your videos and your many photos. It's a real pleasure every time!!
Dainty Diaries thanks yes it was put up on the entrance of our hospital so people can hang crochet hearts , crochet rainbows , hanging hearts for the hope that this covid pandemic will be over soon ,thanks
Another idea from you, thank you. Using felt as a backing is brilliant!! I've made some of these in the past and use fabric glue rather than sewing. I do have a very old sewing machine that used to be my MILs but I'm terrified of it 😂
My name is Allison and I really have enjoyed all your vlogs. My husband and I are building our dream home and when we are done I want to make the girls room just like your home! Thank you for the ispiration. I just love you!
Such a sweet little project. You've given me an idea. Thanks for your videos. Love each of them. Since I'm a new subscriber it's taking a while to catch up, and sometimes I "have to" re-watch them to be sure I gave them a thumbs up.
I was just thinking you could fill them with a scented potpourri type material so they'd be scented nicely or with very small cedar chips to hang in the closet to keep moths away, right before you said that! I'm going to try these! I want to try it with my mom's sewing machine though!
Hi i love your videos you describe really well i love your home i love to craft also i love all your ideas keep them coming lots off lv Rhoda England cumbria xx🤗
Wow...got the same sewing machine...time for similar hearts...love all your videos .i subbed just cos you are so positive ..inspiring...and bubbly...love from india.
Really cute and lovely! Could you tell me which type of singer machine do you own? And by the way all your blog is so encouraging and the way you start blogging. I almost read all your post 🙈 big thumbs uuuuuup!!!!🤗✨🎀
Super cute and well explained. Definitely trying this. Can I ask what the stuffing is called if that's not a silly question? Also where would you recommend getting the floral material? X
That material in the video is by tilda, they are my fave for florals. They can be expensive tough. Ikea also do a nice floral and cath kinston material. If you have an old cushion you could cut it up and use the filler out of it to stuff your heart x thanks for watching.
A fun thing for the week end GO to Easy Tube Pillow Case Tutorial This would be great for your vintage material.. I taught my granddaughter how to sew with this tutorial..
Cute! :) I'm going to have to make some of these...who cares if v-day has past already! Lol... Where do you get your fabric from? Love the little flowers. Tfs...😍
You explained it beautifully well, i think there fab, and you can make them with any material brilliant idea, and your pussycat is just so adorable and made me smile, can i ask where did you get the template from? thanks for sharing this brilliant decor, xxx
Aw thanks Linda, I am so glad you liked it. I traced out the heart myself and a tip was to fold it over and then when you open it up its perfectly symmetrical x
Agh i thought you had after i wrote the comment, easy to do i guess, i have hearts all over my home, hubby just smiles, i love them i get most of them when im on hols in the gift shops in the cotswolds they have shop after shop of gifts all heart related, needless to say next month when i go i will most proberly come back with a few more, xxx
Oh you must it is amazing , and so many gift shops, and quante eating cafes, and the people are so friendly, even in the winter/ march time it is lovely, xxx
I know all about trying to sew when you have a cat. Pins go flying, cotton reels are knocked onto the floor and used as kitty toys. Drives me nuts, but I love my little Chilli-Pip.
