@@vesautoelectrics to be honest mate I haven't looked at it since we got back from going away before but going away this weekend, so I went in the last night actually to check my charge in the battery and even though my charger was connected my battery had gone down to 165 amps. One, I don't know how it could discharge that much with no load, and once again the charger is not charging and then trickle charging..?
Definitely sounds like the charger is at fault. If the settings are correct i would be replacing it. Least then you’ll have peace of mind that’s its working 100% and looking after your batteries.
I have 2x 200Ah batteries, cost $1600 the pair. Do you want to look at them before they're deployed? I have a 50A B2B charger, I plan on using Anderson connectors between them and the battery. Should I use higher capacity connectors than 50A? It seems to me to be cutting things a bit fine.
What batteries did you go for? A 50amp charger on 50amp Andersons should be fine. The output wouldn’t be continuous 50amps, but if that was my set up i would upgrade the Anderson plugs to 120amp ones. Just for peace of mind. Or if possible hard wire?
@@vesautoelectrics PIONERGY 12V 200AH Lithium Battery LiFePO4 Deep Cycle RV Solar Off-Grid System I've not yet decided where to put the electrics, using an Anderson connector would allow me to relocate stuff. It's a commuter with a chair lift which might be useful. I looked at the battery and decided I'd rather someone else gets to fiddle with it.
I think you forgot to mention that if the screen is placed in dormant mode….. by pressing the button to switch off the screen, at that point the shunt and display stops measuring input and output and then your capacity totals become incorrect, that is so annoying and pointless…
