INGREDIENTS
9-12 sheets of filo pastry
butter
FOR BAKLAVA FILLING:
1 cup or 125 grams crushed pistachio (you can use any nuts walnuts, almonds etc)
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp melted butter
FOR CHEESECAKE:
2 cups or 450 grams cream cheese
2/3 cups or 120 grams sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 tbsp or 30 grams corn flour
1/3 cup or 75 grams heavy / double cream
FOR SUGAR SYRUP:
3/4 cups or 150 grams sugar
1 cup or 236 ml water
1/2 lemon juice
1 star anis (optional)
1 inch cinnamon stick (optional)
2 slices of lemon
