Can i ask is there anything wrong with using polysorbate 80 so u dnt have to shake it everytime this helps it from separating cuz u know oil and water dnt mix lol im sure i wont always remember to shake it lol..and what about adding cosmetic mica powder when i use it for my soaps i add it to my oil so it dnt clump..can these be used in this i know its an all natural body wash which is what im interested in but i dnt want to have to always shake it and mentally i would like it to look pretty color wise lol..just curious thank you for sharing

Hey Melissa! Thanks for watching and commenting :) I haven’t tried adding either so I’m answering based on my personal beliefs and not experience... For the polysorbate 80, I avoid this product because it can carry toxins through the brain barrier. I suppose if you keep the recipe as toxin-free as possible, it shouldn’t be so much of an issue. Just mind the quality of your water ;) I was just going through a basket of stuff in my closet yesterday and saw I had some mica! Again, never tried it in this recipe... let me know if you do and how it works out!

I was wondering as a nut and seed allergic i have hard time finding recipes that don't contain coconut or other nuts or crossalergenes. Anyone have ideas.

Some people’s videos I’ve seen add water to it too, is there a reason you do not ?
@mireillenicolecoaching
@mireillenicolecoaching 3 года назад
Not a bad idea, it would make a bigger batch! Adding water does shorten the shelf life of natural products unless you add a preservative. You’d want to use it up faster… I have a video on shelf life if you want to know more :)

Hi there I've been making soap for about a year now and I found yes there is a small problem what does separation has the viscosity of these oils are not all the same so they do not properly emulsify also small dilution of water which also doesn't mix so there's a couple of things you can do I'll let you experiment yourself as you can still get some separation if ratios aren't quite right but you can't just emulsify you need something called an emulsifier only real natural known emulsifier is egg yolk which allows water and oil to move together seamlessly sea salt in a small ratio as a preservative also works as a thickening agent too much will cause more separation to thicken your soap you can try two natural substances which will not harm your hair if anything improved the fullness and that is cornstarch and xanthan gum hope this helps anybody out there

Ph level? Thanks
@mireillenicolecoaching
@mireillenicolecoaching 3 года назад
Good question! Not sure to what it works out given the proportions I use but water is typically around 7, it’s debatable whether or not essential oils have PH, Castile soap is around 9, vegetable glycerin ranges from 5.6 to 9.0 and coconut oil seems to be at around 7. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

This doesn’t make sense; the product already has jojoba and coconut oil. You can just add water.

Have you tried to dupe their favorite scent? While not idea. If you can dupe thier favourite scent as naturally as you can you at least ate getting the body of the ingredients more natural
@mireillenicolecoaching

You can probably dupe most scents using high-quality essential oils. I just go with what I like 😃

Hi Sharon, I don’t sell this body wash I just use this recipe. I’m also not affiliated with the Castile soap shown in this video. Thanks for letting me know I can make my own with a gel base! I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment.

@@mireillenicolecoaching hint. Make your soap.. Once det up.. Grate 100g. Add 150 grams to start. Boil water.. Add in soap slowly. Lye home soap. I made it today.. It will try to get real thick as blending. Add small amounts of water. Til desired thickness. Its then yours 100%
@sharonhamilton6107
@sharonhamilton6107 3 года назад
@@mireillenicolecoaching then you will l now everything about your soap. Lye soap is purest form of soap. What our moms moms made. Many cases moms moms mom. Whew.. . but once become solid. No lye. No oils. Its soap in its purest form. Many bottled contains many preservitaives. What a lot of us are avoiding. We don't see detergent as something we wanna use. So we make soap. Don't worry if pretty. Worry more about end result for you and family. Take care. If I can help in anyway past me know. Im not a gareful person. I was in pain. And I was cyrt. I do appolgize
