I literally just made that today. It came out really good. Only thing was I couldn't make it on 350 for 1 hour I only baked it for 30 minutes because it was already pretty burnt. But they came out fantastic! I made some homemade baked beans with bell pepper onions bacon etc and home fried potatoes. I am so full and happy LOL
@@muhfkajones Why does it matter to you what I am saying? Because I can comment stoopid. You could have moved on!!! Acting like hot dogs is a delicacy. Broke a$$es.
We went to a festival at a place called Cahokia Mounds, and they free hotdogs boiled in apple cider and corn on the cob cooked in the husk (with the hairy stuff removed) in the embers of the fire. Amazing stuff!!
Try switching to venison hot Dogs it has helped me a lot. Plus taste way better than normal hot dogs I will never buy storball hot dogs again. But that may be hard if you do not hunt.
The evidence in the literature suggests that sugar, not salt, is the principal driver of hypertension and cardiovascular disease. You'll be fine as long as you use some grass fed beef dogs.
@Mrross1983 They're called "burnt ends" for a reason. I've made these twice. They're roasted nice and crisp. You're all "dOnT tHiNk So My gUy" and you haven't even tried it. Your opinion is dismissed~
Have to have my dogs burned! Gotta see the black, crispy coating! I'd adjust to just a smidge of garlic powder & pepper. Will give it a try!! They look great!👍🏼
Came back to say: These were phenomenal! 😆 I baked em a lil longer rotating them along the way so they got evenly crisp 🤌🏾 absolutely delicious. Do this.
@@rawmozent.2510 It's quite possible that this will more than likely cover the nasty taste of those Bar S hot dogs 😁 and make them, how should I say, more palatable.. if that's even remotely possible...
You took my dogs off the grill. I've been doing this wrong for 40 years, lol😅 actually delicious and works with Red Hots too. I've been using those Costco footlongs for those who can't do the heat. It's all love!
I made this when sweet and spicy sweet baby Ray's but a small serving as a snack and it was pretty good. Still got the time it takes though I'd rather just grill them.
I didn't hear him say paprika. It was: 1 cup mustard Salt Pepper Onion powder Garlic powder Then he said whatever other seasoning you would use like you're BBQ meat. Put in oven at 350 for 1 hour. Then put BBQ sauce on them. He used Sweet Baby Ray's. Then back in oven for 10 minutes.
Little change up for yall. Id rec. Using spicy brown or onion mustard. Also brown sugar, smoked paprika, a little apple cider vinegar, and chipotle to the mix as well!
