How to Make COCONUT MILK at Home in 5 MINUTES!
If you've made almond milk in the past... then you know it's kind of a struggle. It can totally put you off from ever making your own nut milks again! BUT coconut milk is extremely easy to make, takes a matter of minutes and saves you money! Plus, it doesn't contain any nasty additives, gums, or "natural" flavors.
In today's video, I'm breaking down exactly how easy it is to make homemade coconut milk!
Want to know which is healthier? Check out my video on almond milk vs. coconut milk: • ALMOND MILK VS. COCONU...
Make the Blueberry Hemp Smoothie with your homemade coconut milk!
• Blueberry Hemp Smoothi...
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut shreds/flakes
4 cups warm water
1. Combine both ingredients in a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes.
2. Strain using a nut milk bag.
3. Can be stored in the fridge in a glass container for up to 4 days.

On Gilligan’s Island, The Professor made ‘homemade’ coconut milk by first lopping the coconuts off the tree so that they fell on Gilligan’s head and cracked in half. It seems Autumn’s recipe calls for much less head trauma, which is nice.

@@nicoleroth1232 we put hot water to the shredded coconut meat then squeeze it with our hand then strain it. it makes coconut cream (the thicker one)then repeat procedure for the same coconut meat to make a less thick liquid called coconut milk. that's it. coconuts here are freshly picked from the trees so it's easy to make coconut cream and milk from scratch but in other countries it's not that accessible so it's mostly from package when you buy it.

Hi autumn I would recommend to use room temperature water. Coconut when boiled converts into cholesterol. It's a proven study. So we should never try to boil coconut milk. Also the residual coconut can be used to make ladoos. Mix it with jaggery, dates, dry fruits, cardamom and make round balls. It can be used as energy bar.

The fat in Coconut creams, milk and oils is in itself, high in saturated fat in its original state which is bad for those with high blood pressure/high cholesterol levels. Other options that are low in saturated fat are lite coconut milk and possibly coconut yogurt, depending on what type and what it’s made with ……….

Making Almond milk is so easy. You make it sound like the end of the world. Most steps are the same. Yes, you have to have almonds in your pantry (same goes for Coconut). Almonds have to be soaked for 24 hours (No boiling water needed) and keep it in the fridge. Blending and straining is the same for both. the only additional step with almond milk is the rinsing after soaking. Not sure Coconut milk is worth 100 times more calories and fat. It might work just fine for some people. I will try some in my Chia pudding though. Thanks!

I just want to give a few thoughts to everyone. We care about living clean physically, I wanna preach to everyone reading, living clean spiritually is just as important if not more so. God made available to us this magnificent universe so we can live peacefully and be able to worship him. Worship doesn't mean constantly praying and being a monk. it means making the intention of living life to the fullest with God in our hearts. knowing that one day we will meet him, and he will ask us how we spent the life and blessings he gave us. He sent us the last revelation the Quran, I suggest everyone read it.
