This is so simple! I’ve always thought they were difficult to make so I always used canned greens but if my granny knew I was using canned she’d beat my a** lmao
I’ll throw a jalapeño in there and just take the tip end of a knife and poke a couple of holes in the bottom of the pepper just 2 released the flavor…… Then I fish it out at the end. And then sometimes just mash it up and add it to my own personal bowl :) Just gives a nice flavor without much heat at all . Thanks for sharing. I’m hungry now.
Love them just never made them myself. But added some collard greens in my garden this year and they have been putting out some definitely cooking some for Sunday dinner tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe
So glad I came across this channel today, I love the fact your videos are simple and not lengthy. So far everything looks great and I can’t wait to try some of the recipe on your channel. Thank you!
I've always heard these were hard to do! You sure made them look easy here. I like to adapt traditional recipes sometimes and take them to the grill. I did some smoked cabbage once, and even then I was thinking of doing some smoked greens. I'll have to try this one for sure. Good stuff!
I just finished making this recipe and let me tell you...... YUMmm mm!!!! She definitely knows her stuff on this one!!! I'm going to make her Mac and Cheese tonight!!! Thank you!!!
I was looking for recipes today and I want you to know I was shocked to realize I had picked 3 of your recipes just from pictures and length of videos. I will use many more I’m sure.
Along with your very sweet voice, your video was very detailed and easy to follow. I've actually never eaten collards with turkey meat. This I will for sure try. Of course, my cooking never turns out like the videos, lol. Thank God for my wife's cooking. She can cook just fine but I thought I'd find something a little different this time. Thank you.
It's all about seasoning the broth, collard green flavor doesn't change until seasoned. Great job, go to the head of the class. Yum, but I like green pepper sauce.
I tried collards for the first time 2 years ago. I was so mad at myself for never having tried them lol I also don’t eat pork so that was part of the reason.
I asked the same question where is the vinegar salt and pepper, I guess you put it in with the water and broth? Well so much for soul food cooking I guess
