This is my family's cornbread puddin' & ask for it often. There are loads of similar recipes online but none that bakes longer than an hour or less & most look disgusting. Thanks for a great recipe ❤

Omg!! You have made my wish come true. This dish was made for me as a child and I have not stopped thinking about it since. I couldn’t think of a name for it, so I haven’t been able to find it. Okay... I *really* need to know this. What brand of corn muffin mix do you use? They’re definitely NOT all created equal. EDIT: it helps to put on glasses to see that it’s Jiffy. I swear I’m not normally this dumb.
Omg I used to make a dish like this but I lost the recipe. It seems very similar from what I can remember, minus the cheese and jalapeños. We called it corn bread casserole. It was soooo good. 😋

The recipe looks amazing! I live in Canada and I can’t find any Jiffy cornbread muffin mix. Would you be willing to make a video of this recipe without the Jiffy cornbread muffin mix and using ingredients from scratch?
I have saved this recipe a week ago and made it tonight. Instead of sour cream I used yoghurt. Then I also used 216g of self-raising bran flour instead of the corn muffin mix as well as spring onions other than jalapenos and lastly I just added to the recipe, other than the 2 different cans of corn, also a can of peas for the fun of it. It has got 30 minutes still to go in the oven. I can't wait to try it when it comes out... It's amazing.

On the website it says 1/2 cup melted butter, and on this video it says 3/4 cup. I don't think it would make much difference but I'm not sure which one is correct :) Thanks!

This looks so delicious! I wish I could make this but sadly where I live, most of the stuff isn't available. I wish you'd have given a more from scratch recipe.
bonzhazza for this recipe you need 240g corn muffin mix so probably you can substitute with 120g cornmeal and 120g all purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder
