Sometimes I just need to do something to get out of my head. This is a perfectly perfect for that time. Also a fine fabric scrap booklet with random stitching, ruffles, bits of threads, buttons, appliqués of fabric fussy cuts. Just go wild!

Wow! Fun-- I've already started my torn journal-- Ii discovered how to use canned beets to dye paper--- puree them, strain them, and use the juice to dye papers. The color is deep and intensely rose in color.

Just had to interject and say , juxtaposition is interesting as is moist...interesting we all have our words! Mine is the currently overused “aesthetic”. I am not a fan! As to kitty corner vs caddy-corner... I’m in east Texas and around here we say caddy-whompus! LOL! THIS WAS A GREAT VIDEO! I love listening to you speak and chatter while you work. I found a “card” from 1969 in my husbands junk trying to clean the clutter. It was a congrats card to a new mother. It was made not of card stock but of a kind of paper I’ve never seen before. It was very ASMR worthy. Stiff, kind of off white color. I have searched and searched and searched some more trying to find this paper or at least know what it’s called! In included a piece of it in the last junk journal I sold. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT PAPER IS CALLED?!!! Please help me if you have any idea! It’s driving me nuts!😂

So amazing that you take inspiration from other creators and make it your own. Love the look of this notebook, made me think about something Indiana Jones would have gotten from a teen sweetheart and saved it through his adventures, really got my story writing juices flowing. Behoove is apparently an old English world, but it does sound a bit like the Swedish word behöver which means must, have to, is necessary. Happy weekend ☀️

I found it hard to think "Oh, maybe I shouldn't have thrown that box in the blue bin or maybe I should stop throwing envelopes in the garbage. But I'm gradually twisting my mind around it. My first journal was sensible for number 1 daughter, now number 2 daughter will be getting a whole Mish mash of great photos and incredible junk!

Ok, I am looking at your digital printables and I am wondering how you can use some of those images without copyright violations. How do you figure out say a botany book or a butterfly page is able to be reproduced as a printable? Does it have to be from a certain era? Did you do all the art yourself? Do you make them all by scanning or do you do photoshop or both? If I made printable pages would they be copyrighted?

I listened whilst stuck in traffic today. I didn't watch, I promise! But, I did laugh out loud a few times! Your chatting with yourself and your stuff made a dismal time so much brighter! Crinckles...I was dumping bags of Halloween candy into my cauldron he he he...and these bags are large and crinckley...hmm I'm gonna try it see what comes of it. I wiped them on the inside with a lysol wipe because I don't want critters finding/smelling it...they are air drying and want to see if I can get rid of the candy smell if not, I'm probably not going to move forward with it but I figure it's worth a try to keep them out of the dump. And they were all in a plastic shopping bag...theres a different sounding crinkle from those. Well I shall go and see if I can get the smell gone and report back.

The next day I couldn't smell any candy. I wiped with a lysol wipe, then with a water dampened paper towel and left them open to air dry. Candy smell is gone 👍

Instead of juxtaposition could you use asymmetrical? Instead of whimsical could you use fun? Love this project. I've done my version of this based on one of your previous videos...when I give them to people (aka my sister 😆) I get the squirrelly face. But I love making them. Yes I hung around for the whole show. I could spend the whole day watching you ... infact I have. Binge watching is my fav and I craft while watching. (Thanks for keeping me company 😊) TFS Regards to the menagerie and Papa and MIL Marie. Hope you all have a great day. 🌞 P.S. could you do a video on drawing trees 🌳 both standing and fallen, rotting logs type idea to draw our mushrooms 🍄around and on.
