How to Make Easy Moist PISTACHIO CAKE with Simple GLAZE ~ Mansa Queen

This is an interesting combo of pistachio and lime flavors! Another blockbuster Duncan Hines box cake mix hack. Add a drop of food color to enhance that rich green color or enjoy without.

Ingredients Used
For the cake
1 box Duncan Hines white cake mix
1 pk (3.4oz) instant pistachio pudding mix
1/3 cup unsalted butter melted
1/3 cup vegetable oil (adds a lot of moisture)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp lemon extract
zest of 1 lime
4 eggs @ room temp
1/2 cup buttermilk @room temperature
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
A few drops of green food color
For the caramel butter rum glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp lemon extract
4-5 Tbsp Heavy whipping cream
A drop of green food color
Bake @350 F for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out dry! Allow to cool down completely before glazing! Mmmmm… Enjoy!

Hello, I'm a new subscriber. After watching several videos on how to enhance a box cake mix, I decided on this video mainly because she listed the ingredients and also took her time, and the video was clear and detailed. I made this cake, and it came out perfect. I don't really like icing, so I used a small amount. I have pictures, but I don't know how to upload them. Lol
