You are doing what they want when you make videos about them. Ignore them they win and get to harass people make a video about them calling them out gives them the attention they are looking for. Keep pointing them out sure but call out videos give them attention too. Like the no bad publicity mindset.
Gyms need to start banning filming in their facilities, period. IF someone still wants to, at least, take photos of themselves, designate a secluded location. I mean, there ARE still decent people who are focused on bettering themselves and probably want to share their journey. Shouldn't punish these good people. But filming WHILE ON EQUIPMENT, big no-no and should be banned.
@@Ghost-ws7uh If you know you're not a creep, what is the problem? The girls are the ones looking dumb in every single one of these, not those caught on camera.
People filming in gyms and posting online make me not want to go to one. I am not pretty/decent, I would say not even average, and being disabled doesn't help. I've been trying to get an order in writing to attend gym sessions because PT is impossible to get here. Just the fear of being mocked is annoying itself, and thanks to YTs algorithm I watch a few Hero Hei videos and my front page is "look at this person in the gym, haha so disgusting." when it is people trying to change their lives the best they can do. Sorry, rant over, I just dislike these types of people.
These exact kinds of insecurities are why I decided to hold off on working out until I have the room to buy my own gym equipment at home. It'll be expensive for sure, but at least i"ll be comfortable.
People like that female exist but most either won't care or are like Joey Swole who want you to succeed in your goals. But yeah it doesn't have to be in a gym, do whatever you can right now at home to start getting fit. "We're all gonna make it brahs."
I'm a piss-head myself, So, I'm a lager drinker, mainly. I think I had my first one when I was about 14. Hofmeister. You remember? The bear with the porkpie hat.
I disagree with the tweets in the beginning, they don’t have an inferiority complex, they have a superiority complex. They think their videos and content is more important than the people around them. They think every person looking at them is either checking them out or hating on them. They genuinely think they’re more important than everyone here there. Which is why what Joey is doing is so important, he’s calling out their ego letting them know that the people around could give two shits what they’re doing. THEY are in the wrong and they’re the ones making the gym an unsafe place.
They probably are hating on them, but not for the reason the recording person thinks. The unsaid rule in a gym is to mind your own business and not be a nuisance to others. Going around and recording people is being a pest. No one at the gym likes pests.

It wasn’t like this 10 years ago. Back then when someone big or new came into the gym, all the old heads and rats (at least here in LA) would be smiling with a warm welcome to see someone trying to become stronger. At least then you only had to watch out for fake natties and gymshark fiends.
Yep pure body work outs or just buying some equipment and being creative will go far. Tho sadly I hate by doing this, the stupidly alot of woman are inflicting on society isn't being stopped more or less avoided. Why are these woman this insecure?
@@keonkla I’m working out currently (I’m taking a break to write this lol) at home and been doin so for about 3 years now. One of the best decisions I’ve made. Tbh I don’t know where this insecurity they have comes from but I will say that they’re not doing themselves any favors by behaving in the manner we’re seeing in this video. They claim that men shouldn’t stare at them or really do anything at all cuz it comes off as “creepy.” However, the behaviors and recordings they’re displaying is exactly the creepiness they claim the men are doing (which there’s never any proof of).
A fun thought: If we were to take the correct use of the POV meme (First Person) into consideration, then that would mean this girl is doing her exercises obnoxiously close to another person's eyeballs. d(Ow O
Imagine if you had a restraining order for someone stalking you, and finally when you feel moderately safe, trying to rebuild your life, some idiot films themselves and you basically exposing you without your consent and your stalker finds you again. These deranged people don't care about others, only themselves and I would add apart from the entitlement these people could potentially put other people in danger just because "omg so quirky I'm making a video heehee and they are looking at ME, I'm the centre of the universe, everyone owes me for breathing the air I exhale teehee". And even if that scenario I just painted to you is to you far fetched It already happened in latin america, but in any case it's also too common for people in the US doing this type of stuff, what is it with the entitlement and being rude to other people for no reason? My heart goes for all the people there that has to put up with that sh*t. I choose to believe the majority of people there are not like that because common sense, it's just that this behaviour is seen everywhere, whatever the clout chasers do and is copied anywhere else by stupid influencers like it's a good thing when it clearly is not. Whatever their parents where smoking when they had those clout chasers, they didn't taught them to humble themselves as a normal person would.
Honestly? The only time I've ever felt insulted at the gym wasn't even directly. It was some musclebro using the hip abductor machine, and then another musclebro coming along and mocking him for it, and both of them laughing over how he was using "the little girl's machine." When, yeah, I use the hip abductor myself sometimes and don't particularly appreciate the implication that it's for sissies. But that's honestly the worst I've ever gotten: A dismissive comment that wasn't even aimed at me specifically.
Well of course it doesn't go well. People are at the gym to workout, and the regulars do not 'ever' make fun of people, they don't leer, they usually do mind their own business. Though they will bring it to a person's attention if they think that person is over-extending themselves or could be hurting themselves. Especially the gym trainer's, it is literally their job to keep on eye on people working out and either help them or stop them if there might be a problem in their workout. The general rule at a gym is that if you're going to be an ass, you will likely be asked to leave the gym. The whole 'Oh I work out faster than the other person' is just sad. The 'slower' lady is probably older and could be brand new at the gym and she's doing her best, and like the guy said, maybe she has a bad knee or something.
Fitness Influencers: Hmm... You know what? The gym environment is too positive & filled with too many people trying to better themselves. I bet if I went in there & made everything toxic, I could make everyone there miserable like me.
I knew this would happen when gyms and working out became trendy thing to do. Like with any hobby, bunch of narcissist show up and think world revolves around them and after people finally have enough and do pushback they whine "muh, gatekeeeeeping". I swear you can't even go to gym these days before some random chick who started working out yesterday goes on a rant that every man in the locker room finds her attractive and every other women wants to be her, no matter how (below) average this chick looks like.
That second woman on the treadmill could have been disabled I walk that slow especially on an incline because of a bad knee and spinel cord damage point is you never know as joey says mind ya business
Workouts aren't really speed relevant unless your RUNNING and if your running your clocking a HELL of a lot faster than 3 mph. Like if your trying to flex coffee muchless super coffee is somehow improving your workout you should be SPRINTING UP THOSE STAIRS AND BE SWEATING THE BEST WORK OUT OF YOUR LIFE!!!!
Joey swole seems to be a really nice guy. I myself don't got to the gym, mostly because I fear people would make fun of me. I'm just not that confident after all. People like that girl reminds me of this one scene from American Dad where Roger yells after Stan that everybody is looking at him and a random guy just says that no one was watching him. I mean, were they really looking at her? She seemed to be looking at the weights for me while the man just seemed to be looking to the side and not even her direction. And the other person, I thought at first that was an older lady, looked for me like that at least, so no wonder she is not that fast. It looked more like that girl that was filming was actively trying to position her camera in a way where she can a) look better than other people and b) let other people look like they where creeping on her. I would say she does that more often and it's not something like "oh I randomly caught creepy, jealous person gawking and hating on me while filming"
Fun fact, the human Eye is drawn to movement. If you move into somebody's field of view, their eyes will almost instantly snap to where you are as something moving, and therefore, you are an unknown variable. This is because when we were still trying to hide from things in the tall grass. Noticing movement was the difference between life-and-death.
When I have been biking in the gym recently. I will watch highlights of the Tour De France while biking " to make it feel like I am actually there." No, but it's something to motivate you while riding. The last stage is tomorrow.
I’d bet money the girl ‘going faster’ only did so for the recording, then immediately went slower than the other lady, if she even continued at all. 90% of these people are doing the least intensive workouts I’ve ever seen. Like there’s literally zero reason for them to pay for a gym membership, but they know the cost is covered by the idiots throwing money at them for their ‘health and fitness’ tips
Hope Supercoffee pulls their sponsorship from that girl. She's harming their integrity and she's making them look bad, using it to put people down and make her look like she's better.
....what's wrong with a person looking to the side? In the first place did she even get the permission to film in the gym? I swear they never learn. Gyms are one of the few places where people aren't being assholes to each other 100% of the time nowadays, hell, even i, being the toxic bastard that i am won't make fun of fat people working out because they're actually trying to improve themselves.(Will make fun of those that demand respect and think people are obliged to feel bad for them, "body positivity" crowd is the reason why fat shaming should absolutely be a thing)
I think gyms should ban recordings, or at least ban people from brining a full production set, might not solve the problem outright but maybe help a bit.
When I first started to go to the gym. I need a lot of help knowing what machine does what and it nice that sometimes people teach me how some machines works when they see me using it wrongly.
For all the people who feel discouraged to go to the gym because they're too old, too fat, too whatever... just know a good chunk of people at that gym were all that way (are in the same boat). I'm currently trying to shed all the pounds I gained since Covid shutdowns. Every once in awhile I'll see a group of women somewhere in their 60s-70s working out together. One of them, in particular, works out the most of the group. She is older and a lot bigger than me. Yet, she is a total BEAST on the ab-crunches machines! She does more sets than me and in DOUBLE time! She's where I aspire to be. I've seen her three times so far, and a part of me wants to approach this lady and tell her how inspirational she is to me (I'm a woman and haven't been feeling so good about myself since reaching my 40s). She didn't let age or weight stop her. Alas, I get anxious around talking to new people (with a bad tendency of overtalking and sounding like a wierdo lol) and, at my gym, everyone keeps to themselves lol. So, for now, I'll continue secretly rooting for her and trying to follow in her steps of getting fit again. I guess the point I'm trying to make here is, don't assume people at the gym, particularly those staring at you, are sizing you up or thinking less of you. It's very likely they could be looking at you with great admiration and respect.
Never know what the other person's story is as to why they're not working out as hard as you think they should be... I had a blood clot that started in a martial arts related knee injury and I survived it passing through my heart and attaching itself to the artery past the heart where it splits to go to the lungs (medically known as a saddle embulus). I spent 10 days in cardiac ICU and was under no work/exertion orders for almost 10 months afterwards. Simply surviving had taxed my body to the max and doctors weren't sure what type of long term damage I would have to my heart and lungs. So they clamped down on my activities and didn't let me do anything except be alive. Walking was it and they wanted SHORT stints with LONG rests... literally... 5 minutes of slow walking and 10-15 minutes of sitting rest... that was all the exertion I was allowed. At 10 months... I was allowed to start light exertion and allowed to have a light duty return for work okayed... but working in a metal shop... there was no light duty. at 18 months... I was given the all clear to go to a gym to try to rebuild my body. that lady on the treadmill was looking like an olympic sprinter compared to me when I started. And I was lifting JUST the bar and struggling... I'm 6'-3" and weigh in at about 270 pounds... I'm a metal shop working and was as solid as solid can be.... and there I was... straining to do reps and sets of just the bar or panting like a bellows on a treamill at the lowest/easiest settings... No one ever said anything, but every time I looked around... there were eyes on me. Not sure why but after a while... every time I saw someone staring at me... I didn't do it, but every time I saw someone staring... I felt like I had to justify my 'workout' routine. I eventually got tired of it and so I bought my own free weights and have them set up at home here. I have some heart damage, lung damage, and the vein that goes into my heart is damaged... but I'm alive and when I strain myself too much I can feel it like knives in my chest.
Look I just wanna go to the gym and blast my Weeb music in my headphones while I run a couple miles. The vast majority of people aren’t concerned with some broad doing a workout and frankly, neither are the people you’re filming for.
Hmm maybe you spawned in a bad spot but try to get a full party of new recruits and handle smaller bandit groups or even better the looters who are weaker at first to level up a bit. You can also train your character a bit in the city arenas and tournaments for easy exp and potentially free loot basically
1st video didn't even convince me that these people where looking at her. The man seems to look past her and the woman in the mirror... well it's a mirror, she might be looking at anything, but the mirror makes it look like she's looking at her. Not convinced at all. 2nd video just seems like she's compairing her preformance to an elderly woman. ps... it's not an inferiority complex, but a superiourity complex. They clearly think they're better then others, not the opposite, right?
I think i will get filmed by these people if i go to a public gym. Coz i kinda doze off, stare at nothing when I'm really tired from working out (back when i work out 😂)
A major oxymoron with these types for one the angels they use come on y'all want people to look at you! at that type tight pants + those interesting angels...... yea their fully aware and know what their doing. and seriously don't get those strongly against us even when were right it's so weird!
Why is this still happening? These women have to be doing this intentionally as a form to gain clout, bad or good publicity it doesn't really matter to them it seems.
I herd a good one from another youtuber, "just because you take out the garbage does make you a garbage man". This totally covers these clowns thinking they are models.
Pretty much every gym I've been to I've had someone who felt I needed to say something to me that was incredibly rude it was never an employee it was always just some other gym Goer.
He brings up a good point I see people doing exercises I want to copy all the time. Also that fat guy wasn't looking at her he looked like he was trying to look as far to the left as possible to get a good stretch.
I also go to the gym to be looked at. LOL maybe she's just shy about her body? If you don't want to be observed then stay home and never go outside. Hero Hei you gotta keep in mind that if you are embarressed about how you look any single comment or look of disgust can scare you away. Doesn't matter there's a hundred saying good job etc. it really does only take one and I don't know what you can do about that. I just hope they got friends to build their confidence back up to go again. To learn that those people are not common.
