Very nice. I never thought of using the microwave. If I make potatoes like this for breakfast instead of just frying them, I would boil the potatoes prior, but the microwave does the same thing easier and faster. Good tip thanks
This, the year of COVID-19 and smart people limiting trips to the grocer, we have been eating from our garden. We do not throw away scraps or left overs in the trash. Our plants love them and gives us love in return.
Good idea microwaving first, I spend alot of time trying from raw lol new way now lol gonna be using this idea, we had microwave baked loaded potato for dinner lol to tired to cook lol
Made these for dinner today and they were great! Husband loved them!! Next time I will follow directions though and taste as I go because I made them a little bit too salty, but they were still great... and not very greasy which I loved!! Thank you for the recipe!!!

First time I've seen someone put the potatoes in the microwave i always see people boil the potatoes which i think can be tricky for me your idea is better and easier thanks for the tip Blessings my dear..
Good idea about the paper wrap for the peels and put them in the trash. My mom and my sister in law have both clogged up their plumbing. My sister in law put potato peels and my mom put a bunch of celery scraps down the disposal. My mother defended herself saying “we bought the most expensive garbage disposer” and I said mom that fibrous stuff just needs to go in the trash can. Both woman packed the pipes with garbage and they each had to call a plumber. I like your technique, they look delicious. That’s the way I like them too, yummy! ,
I have been microwaving my fried potatoes for years, but let me say if I was going to peel them I would do it first. I then cut the cold potatoes into the size chunks (I prefer small) then microwave in a covered bowl for 2 medium potatoes for 3 minutes. I do this well ahead, I can clean up and it is a big time saver and yields crisper potatoes at the finish.
I don’t eat pork and like to limit my oil intake, too many family members over years I’ve lost to cardiovascular disease. So are most of mine in the oven at the spraying them with olive oil and seasoning they still come out Fried but with less oil. Thanks for the video
I agree with you on bland tasting food ... 7:55 ... So, we're gonna try your HFP&O today. Now, we'll probably be really enjoying it if we don't get blown away by Hanna in Houston today (07-25-2020).
@@traciesplace Ms.Tracie's I was awaken about 2 am this morning. So I decided to watch several U videos before drifting back to sleep. I came across yours and those potatoes was making me hungry I decided to make some home fries potatoes after watching your recipe and the microwave actions. Your definitely made life much easier for me when it comes to bake those potatoes in the microwave. Everything came out lovely. Thank you for the idea with delicious potatoes and microwave. Stay Safe during this critical pandemic times this world is experiencing ❤
Yes, microwave- and it’s not lazy, uuummm that’s the point of the microwave! To make processes go FASTER!!! There are busy women (men) who want to make savory dishes FAST because they just don’t have the time for all day cooking , oh my goodness…
