As a German - Germans love potatoes - I thought there is nothing really more to learn about skillet potatoes. I admit, I was wrong. I learned that skillet potatoes need patience and a bit of love as seasoning. Thank you for sharing your way of cooking with us.

I get on RU-vid to search for potato recipes. I come across this video. While I’m watching the video, I think to myself, “This lady sounds like she’s from my town.” At the end of the video, I see she is from my town! 😀

In these chaotic, 2020 times, more than ever, we need to remember these words, because He lives. I'm cooking this now with skillet fried pork steaks n a lettuce and cucumber salad. I learned from my mother n aunt I also add chopped bell peppers n fried crumbled bacon yummy

I LOVE fried potatoes! Adding the onions is always an added bonus! Growing up we had fried potatoes almost every night, my dad was a true meat and potatoes man! I personally don’t think you could make potatoes that I wouldn’t eat! I love potatoes in every way! Your dinner looks so good!

Umm,umm good. I could eat fried chicken and any style potatoes everyday. ( I practically do) This dish looks really good. No wonder why my fried potatoes always came out not so good. Thanks for the vid. They look great. I make fried potatoes similar to this. My mom taught me to use bacon grease, I'll also chop up some onion and bacon bits towards the end so they can get soft but not burnt.
