First time I’ve seen using 1 mold for 2 soaps! Ingenious! I have a large mold I rarely use, this gives me incentive to make larger batches and will help me be more efficient since my little soap company is growing.
Best video on making Hot process goats milk soap I’ve ever seen thank you for the recipe also I’ll be looking forward and seeing your videos in the future
Well I usually only use low setting to heat oils and when I add hot lye water to the warm oil it heats up enough to cook at low, I usually turn my crock pot off half way through the cook too. Hope that helps!!
Hello My full recipe is in the description box below the video!! There should be an arrow to expand the description. If you want the recipe in a written form, I have my step by step guide, recipe and DIY wooden mold measurements for 5 lb here www.etsy.com/listing/805246934/my-famous-recipe-26-page-downloadable?ref=shop_home_active_1
There are so many!! There is fat from the oils and goat milk left in the soap after saponification which is so beneficial to your skin. Goat milk is full of minerals and enzymes that your skin needs. There are no chemicals in the soap too which of course is much better for you. Using herbs and essential oils all have different benefits themselves too, from healing to adding minerals. Once I started using goat milk hand crafted soap, I don’t ever need lotion my skin is so hydrated and soft!
For my large mold (65 oz) the base is Castor oil 2 oz. (3.8%) Coconut oil 27 oz (41.54%) Olive oil 32 oz (49.23%) Shea butter 4 oz (6.15%) Run that through the soap calculator to get your lye and water measurement
