📲 Our Pick Up Limes app is finally here (1-week free trial!): bit.ly/PUL_app 🎉 These bloopers are just getting more crazy, folks. Remember to peel those sweet potatoes! 😜 Which recipe would you want to make first?
The most impressive part of this video is watching a woman who has the confidence to wear a white sweater while dealing with beetroot. If that were me, my sweater would be ruined.
Incase you’re in a hurry or wondering Classic hummus : :46 - 2:08 Roasted Garlic & Red pepper : 2:26 - 3:47 Golden Lemon and Turmeric : 4:09 - 5:10 Roasted Beetroot 5:15 - 6:10 Green pea and Edamame : 6:30 - 7:30
After watching this months ago I have made one of these recipes weekly. All are unbelievably good! One word of warning on the red pepper hummus - I made it exactly as the recipe calls and found mine to be quite runny. It may have been from the size of my bell peppers (larger = more juice), so I would recommend not adding the water in the recipe until you see how thick it is without the water. This is a minor warning. The major warning is the flavor is so amazing that you won’t be able to eat Sabra store bought hummus ever again.
i tried to do them all at home now that we're quarantinated and i fell definitely in love. actually my favorite is the roasted garlic and pepper, I added curcuma in it and some spices and it comes out delicious. you're really an ispiring model
Thank you for the amazing recipes. What I liked about them was how clear your voice was and you actually specified how much of what needed to be put in like tbps, tsp, cups and so on. Thanks again and have a good day!
As a Palestinian, hummus is an everyday ingredient in our kitchen. Making it at home is so much better! The secret to making it fluffy is by adding ice to the food processor. Yes ICE!. Great video, thank you!
Irrespective of the the content I don't know how but your videos serve as a meditation for me. You're videos it self are balanced, with the exact quantity of content unlike other RU-vid videos that literally bogs down our mind with to much information in a short time. Your biggest fan ❤
Perfect recipe!! So delicious! I added an extra garlic clove, replaced olive oil for regular oil and tahini for natural peanut butter. It gives it such a creamy texture (don't worry, you can't taste the peanut flavor at all! ❤️
Dear Sadia and PUL team, I can't thank you enough for bringing all those wonderful and healthy recipes to surface! I made the beetroot humus yesterday and it was loved not only by my family but everyone in my office (who I shared with) was super impressed! Thank you so much and you are truly an inspiration for healthy and nutritious eating. God bless you!
Research has linked hummus and its ingredients to a variety of impressive health benefits, including helping fight inflammation, improving blood sugar control, better digestive health, lower heart disease risk and weight loss. Moreover, hummus is naturally free of common food allergens and irritants, such as gluten, nuts and dairy, which means it can be enjoyed by most people.

I am a french teenager who is looking for a healthier lifestyle and thanks to you I can improve my life meanwhile improve my English thank you again for your impressive work you're such an inspiration for me and I wish I can be like you when I am an adult 🙂 (I think I will try the beetroot first because it is my favourite vegetable too)
Hi Sadia, I don't know if you made this kind of videos before but would you recommend food processor or blender ? What's the diffrence between them and which one of them is the more versatile ? I'm looking for a tool to cook recipe like humus, soups or smoothies. Thanks in advance for your reply and have a nice week-end :)
I have both, and I use the blender mostly for soups and smoothies, it works well with liquids. The glass is taller thicker and the knifes are smaller. The food processor I usually use for dry ingredients (nuts and seeds) or pastes like hummus or homemade ice cream. I think technically you can use one for everything, but the food processor is tricky with liquids because it isn't as high and some don't have enough power to break ice f.e. As for the blender, the knifes are located in the middle so if there isn't enough liquid it doesn't cut properly, which is why it doesn't work well for dry ingredients. It all depends on the type, though. There are some good comparisons online if you want to read up on it.
@@xAnicsi Thanks a lot for the reply and the explaination :) I'll search for comparaison then. As I have a little space for cooking, I'd like to buy a versatile robot. I think as well one can do both if I choose it properly.
I want to say you are absolutely my roll model for life from now on. You can't imagine these days I was so desperate and stressed and the only time I enjoy my life is when I am watching your videos. I feel like I am living like you do. Thank you for being such aspiring. I think you should have Persian background since your last name is "Badei". Love you girl. Wish you all the best
Hummus is chickpeas in Arabic. so if the mixture does not have chickpeas in it, it is not actually Hummus 😁 anywaays LOVE you videos definately trying the beets and the roasted bell peppers ones 😍😍👌
But you can't deny it's a brilliant way to add more greens to your food, apparently tahini, lemon, and garlic with some spices can upgrade anytype of food
Ohhhhh, they all look amazing, but that last one, wowwww!!! I never thought of making hummus with edemame and green peas!!! (And I LOVE both!!!). Can't wait to make it this week, thanks Sadia!!!! :D x
Love the bloopers!! I agree store bought hummus is too oily. I will definitely try these recipes. Roasting lemons... omg. I've got to try ... Sadia, thank you as always!🤗
I loved these recipes!! I make my own hummus and we love them in our house as well. But variations always makes them interesting. Thank you for this video..really enjoyed it
I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to add that red lentils make a great substitute for the chickpeas, since they cook up so soft you can get an even silkier hummus. Also once when I ran out of tahini I just added toasted sesame seeds directly in with the puréed chickpeas and I think it came out even creamier than usual. Love hummus. I would probably add some wasabi to the edamame dip!
I made hummus for the first time because of this video, made the garlic and lemon one with homemade tahini and fresh ingredients. Thanks for inspiring me Sadia
I see the bread for your sandwiches in many of your videos. What brand bread do you buy, OR what recipes do you use to make bread. They always looks so good.
Hi, i'm palestinian♡🇵🇸 Great video, colors, ideas and finesse! Try sprinkling finely ground sumac on top of the classic one, It's classic👌🏼 so good. Fun fact chickpeas in arabic means hummus, so technically the last one wasn't hummus😁 but still a good idea
It is possible even with a weak blender! I put the ingredients into a bowl first, mash them as much as I can with a fork, potato masher, wooden spoon, whatever - and then I put them into the blender already semi-smooth so that it has a bit of help first.
@@sophiegirek1505 Thank you for your answer. I was hoping to cut some costs, since sesame is much cheaper than tahini. @Caoimhe Hassett Are you sure that you don't mean the hummus itself? Because that should work with any blender
Sadia you are literally fascinating... I can't stop watching your videos, they are so informative, fun, relaxing and cozy. I have been vegetarian for 7 years and the last three I started to eat meat again, as I watching your amazing content I feel inspired to go straight to vegan. Be blessed, dear from the bottom of my heart and all the people you love to!❤❤❤
Hi Sadia! I just wanted to ask you if there was any recipes you could try and make with normal or whole grain pasta. It really doesn't matter if you don't want to, or don't eat pasta. Also I just wanted to say that it's such a joy to know that I can just click on a video that is really educational in health, but also really amusing, calming and fun. Please keep making videos! ❤️
Hi Sadia, I absolutely love your videos and all your recipes and I think it would be a great idea for you to make a video with some salad dressing recipes, I would be very keen to try the out
Thank you. I was just thinking about edamame hummus and how to make it myself. Your wonderful video was really clear, perfect sound quality, and your hummus recipes perfectly put together and very artistically decorated 😊👍👍💞
This is my 5th day with your charming videos and looking forward to preparing HUMMUS! (now I can share some with my neighbor... she's always sharing HER hummus with me!) I have signed up for your newsletter and looking forward to it as well. THANKS!
All the colors and twists on the presentations makes it look delicious ! i'm definetely gonna try them all :D & i loved the bloopers xD it shows us your adorably goofy side ! we love you Sadia ❤️️
WOW :-) a few days ago I made hummus 4 ways - 1: with Pistachio nuts 2: with black sesame seeds 3: with pine nuts 4: with beetroot - but I will undoubtedly be undertaking your amazing recipes next time I have chickpeas ready to go - thanks for sharing your passion; hugs from Melbourne
I just made my first hummus, it tasts more like spreadable falafel, but I love those even more so, win win. I used a cup of yellow split peas, half of a boiled beetroot, 2 tb alove oil, cumin, salt, 2 small cloves of garlic and 2 tb chopped parsley as garnish. I had neither sesame nor tahini at hand and the split peas where leftovers from yesterday I needed to use up . . . . It tasts godly! Only a hint of beetroot, lacks most of the usual bitterness and is quite fresh and light while beeing absolutly stunning in color. I think I try to bake some of it just out of curiousety how it will turn out as "falafel" ^^
Is there a way to love this video?? Thank you for bringing new ideas that are also quick and easy. Also the new studio looks amazing even the little that we can see.
Hi Sadia! I made two of these yesterday and both turned out really really good, probably best hummus I have made! Thank you for very accurate recipes. A big fan of your videos and recipes. Always looking forward to new videos.
Thank you, Sadia. I tried the classic lemony hummus and it was super bien. Quick and simple. And now, there are less things in the kitchen world I am afraid of. 🙂👍
Hi Sadia. Love your videos! Could you maybe talk about a 2 people household and how you avoid wasting food - especially when it comes in big quantity from the store? I always struggle to use everything I buy for grocery since we are 2 people only and don't finish up for example a bread within 3 days.
