I cooked this today for our Sunday dinner. It was fabulous. Love this chicken & rice recipe. My husband was wiping his plate with his bread! We been married 40 years, this man really enjoyed this. Thank you for the wonderful prayers and our food.

I missed quite a few steps, threw the chicken thighs in for about 45 minutes. I started my Minute Rice about 40 minutes early, looked in the pantry, and saw some chicken corn chowder. Hmmm. Through the chicken corn chowder in with the rice, waiting on the thighs to get done. My wife doesn't appreciate thighs like I do, but who's cooking? 😆

OMGI MADE it a second time! Even better! My husband brought home boneless skinless chicken breast’s and wants me to duplicate this, his NOWW FAVORITE DISH, GINA! Luckily, he brought home those earthy mushrooms, so, lots of butter, love , peppers and onions on a sauté to make up for those tender thighs! Wish me well!❤️🙏🏻👍🏻
Triple the fresh garlic. Put less garlic powder. Garlic is so good for you, lowers your blood pressure, helps your circulatory system. Keeps your skin looking nice. Tastes so good.
Grating the onion works wonderfully if you have family that doesnt like seeing onions in their food, it completely melts away leaving only the flavoring, just a nifty trick I learned while attending cooking school at RU-vid University, lol

Thank you Mrs Young. I made this tonight. My husband is very picky so it’s hard for me to find meals that he may like even though he comes home every night looking for a full meal!! I made this and I hope he,ll eat it. 1 note to others I’ve found that Sazon can make your meals very salty. I didn’t use any other salt but my dish came out saltier than I would like and I used the Success Brown rice and it took forever to soften in the dish. If I use Brown rice again I would par boil it first and then add it to the dish to finish cooking in the soup.

I think this is my fave dish by Gina! I made this recently and am making it again tonight! Thank you for teaching me how to cook this summer! There is a plethora of different dishes for every meat you type in; even different videos for the same recipes (always with a different twist)! Such an inspiration!

Yum! I also like chicken thighs the best...and I use Success Basmati rice...this is a great recipe! I like to make it on Saturday afternoon, put it in the fridge, and then heat it up after church on Sunday...and it makes the chicken even more flavorful to season the chicken the day before you plan to cook it, and put it in a zip lock bag in the fridge...and I sub mushrooms for the green peppers, as my family doesn't really like them...yummy delicious good!
Chicken and rice is my all-time favorite dish. I will make it this way henceforth. I'll probably put in some handfuls of cheddar cheese. I stopped using the Spanish seasoning. It was making it salty. I can't wait to try this this way. I'll try instant rice for the first time. I'll bet that's delicious the second day
