FlavCity with Bobby Parrish Thank you 🙏But: 3485 calories?????? I try to lose weight and hardly eat something that measures more than 500 calories per meal (dinner that is!) How many calories is it per 100 grams?
FlavCity with Bobby Parrish Thank you for your answer.I will definitely make this dish one day. It will be a change in my daily meals! And; Yes, I do not eat food with; Starch, gluten, sugar (I only use stevia ifI need a sweetener), rice, pasta, potatoes in any form, and a lot of other ingredients. I make my own vegan Stone Age-bread (without being a vegan myself 😁), only 1 fruit a day (I am diabetic!) and have found my own way with food and herbs, spices for to cope as best I can according to my health challenges‼️
Fantastic, I did two versions yesterday, one with mashed potatoes one with mashed cauliflower and I added my own quirk with hard-boiled eggs and olives A La Argentine Pastel de Papas style -- childhood favorite. This was my first time doing cauliflower mash from scratch and, in spite of a bit of trouble with my blender, it turned delicious. Thank you
I had to write a comment to you Bobby telling you this is the BEST low carb, Keto shepherd's pie I have ever made and ever ate! It's ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and easy to make:) Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your cooking talents!
Already made this dish several times and we love it! It's an awesome recipe that can be adapted to what you have at home protein/veggie wise...you guys are awesome thanks for all the beautiful ideas!
I'm just a home-spun cook. I've been low carb and keto for 5 years now since diagnosed with T2. The recipe is very similar to my own and I am going to try yours! There is one thing I do with my cauli a bit differently. Once cooked, I place it in a mesh colander and press the excess water out of it. There is a lot! I find that it stays firmer and the golden brown on top is evener. Love your channel and ordered your cookbook. I'm very excited!
I made this last night and tried it today. Delicious!!! I used zucchini, bell pepper, onions, and mushrooms with beef. Only thing is I COULD NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME get the cauliflower smooth like potatoes. Mine seemed more like grits but it still tasted amazing!! A new favorite for sure.
👍🏼 Glad you loved it! Hmm......Did you use a blender for the cauliflower? Maybe you could have cooked the cauliflower a little longer or maybe puree it longer?
I have a GNC blender for drinks, and yes I did try to blend it in there but it didn’t work at all.. then I tried my little Ninja chopper thing which pulsed it up but left it grit like. Finally I used an emulsion blender but that still didn’t make it completely smooth ether 🤷♀️ Maybe I need to invest in a blender like you with the plunger thing.
Love your shirt 😁! Thanks for another low carb option. I love your short, clear and energetic videos. I especially love and appreciate your informative market hauls.
I would also add fresh dill to cut down on the need for salt and it tastes good too. I would also consider using vegetable stock since it is lamb. Everything else is beautiful and great.
I used local goat cheese in my cauliflower mash at Christmas, went over really well! But for St. Patrick's, I love to use Irish cheddar and fresh chives!
Ooo yess please make some low carb hot pockets I miss those being on Keto lol 😂 ooo yum I’ll try this 👍😍🤗 Disclaimer FYI: get a pepper mill and grind your own peppercorns they now put pencil shavings that’s right !!!! Pencils ✏️ shavings in store bought ground pepper and now it’s in store bought grated Parmesan cheese!!!! Guys be careful be smart buy your own stuff !!! DYI is the way to go!!!!!
I have become a fan of ground turkey because it’s more affordable. But I am not so great cooking it so that would be awesome to get some pointers on turkey meatballs, burgers, or just ground for taco meat or spaghetti sauce. :) Thanks for the video great recipe to try.
I dont know if its a thing in the US but in the UK mint sauce is pretty popular, especially with lamb, and i always put a few spoonfuls in my shepherds pie. Its delicious.
@@BobbyParrish how kind of you to take time to reply! It is more of a dream than a plan, but when it comes true I hope I remember this and send you a pic with my keto sheperd's pie :D
My wife and I were already planning on doing a cauliflower mash Sheppard’s pie for St. Paddy’s before we head out in Indy. Thanks for the vid, perfect timing! I’m not fully on board with the cauli-mash train yet, but I bet this will do it for me. Enjoying your channel 👍🏻

Hiii can you do a grilled fish please? And more healthy fish and shrimp recipes?? 🙏🙏🙏🙏 and im looking foward to the book. I just preordered mine. I cant wait and please keep posting videos of cooking. It has really helped seen the video vs reading and been lost in all the cook books. :) Ps. More budget meals as well. :) please please .
I have been planning on making a cottage pie for quite a while. So now I can alter my recipe with many of your suggestions. I typically use ground beef. And being that my mother is British and I grew up in England I usually add Bisto gravy granules. They probably would be contradictory to your goal with this recipe but they definitely add some banging flavour!
Looks great. I run my fork tines across the top. It represents something about the Sheppard's. I forget. Lol. This is what I miss the most about being on keto. Thank you. I pre-ordered your book. Can't wait to get it.. you are the keto gourmet. Thanks sweetheart.
just pre-ordered your book...super excited to make this recipe this week! LOVE your channel and all your recipes! Oh and also your T-Shirts crack me up :)
I knew I liked you but when I heard the SNL reference I love you ❤️ 😆 that’s my show...been watching it since I was a little girl with my Dad (totally inappropriate, but I didn’t get most of the jokes anyway!) Now that my Dad is gone, it will forever make me smile and think of him. Even the bad years were good to me. Anyway, the bag reference- was it the bar scene with the two drunk people who hook up?? lol I usually know just about every SNL answer, but this one got me!
Next Sunday’s dinner plan complete...lol...That ‘pie looks so yummy...and you are absolutely right..The cauliflower mash done right is better than mashed potatoes...and just preordered your Keto cookbook...Thanks Bobby and Dessi Parrish!
Bobby that looks super delish. I've been anxiously waiting for the MAYO recipe. I miss using mayo most store mayo contain not approve keto ingredients so haven't purchase any. Please do a mayo vid. TFS.
Hi Bobby... wondering if steaming instead of boiling the cauliflower/garlic would be a viable option as I feel I would like a "thicker" (if you will) topping. This seems like a great pie!
artman33167 Hey, don’t think the big man upstairs ain’t keeping score, baby. He put you in the penthouse, He can kick you down to the gutter with these two!
Just subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to more content. I really am looking forward to it. May I ask what kind of burner are you cooking on. Is it electric?
Where do you get the tomato paste in the tube? How long does it last after you open it and does it need refrigeration after opening? Thank you so much 👌
That one's a bit subjective - depends on how big a portion you want since the pie can be cut however you like. Determine your standard portion and divide by how many of those your pie will produce.
