Order Work
1 Print the pattern. Connect the patterns with scotch tape.
2 Place the fabric with the right side facing down, then place the pattern on top of it and secure with pins.
Cut out the fabric following the seam allowance line on the pattern.
3 Cut the fabric along the outer seam allowance line (dotted line).
4 For the parts with zigzag lines in the seam allowance, such as
- Outside
- Leg Inside,
finish with a zigzag stitch or overlock machine.
Temporarily remove pins from the areas to be processed.
5 Fold Around Waist and hem along the fold line to the right side in three folds and press with an iron to create a crease.
6 Fold along the fold line for pinch stitching to the wrong side, then sew straight along the finished line with a sewing machine.
7 Align the finished lines of the front and back fabric at the 'Outside' and 'Leg Inside' with the wrong sides facing each other, and sew straight with a sewing machine.
Do not sew the seam allowance that faces out on one of the three folds on Leg Inside, as it is for threading the elastic.
8 Align the 'Center Back' of the left and right fabrics, secure with pins, and sew straight along the finished line with a sewing machine.
9 Align the 'Center Front' of the left and right fabrics, and sew straight along the finished line with a sewing machine.
Do not sew the seam allowance that faces out on the three folds, as it is for threading the elastic.
10 Remove all patterns.
11 Open the seam allowance at the unsewn part of the front center, and reinforce by sewing straight around it like a square.
12 Fold Around Waist seam allowance in three folds, and secure the edge by sewing straight with a sewing machine.
13 Open the seam allowance at the unsewn part of the hem's Leg Inside, and reinforce by sewing straight around it like a square.
14 Fold the hem in three folds, and secure the edge by sewing straight with a sewing machine.
15 Cut the string, insert it through the waist and hem, and tie it.
