This is the best flan recipe ever!! Flan is the kind of recipe that you either hit or miss. This recipe is a hit. Most "flan" you eat around here, in America, is nasty and that's why most people don't like it here. This recipe is what you expect flan to taste like. Not nasty, flavorless jello with a hent to eggieness. It's gross. But this recipe! 😍😍😍 It's one of my favorite desserts to make. I hated flan until a Filipino friend made me some, and I was in heaven! I asked him how he made it, and this is almost exactly what he did. Same ingredients. I love it 💕 Thank you so much. Now I try to spread the love of flan here 😂 May Allah reward you for such a table treasure!

No it’s not the perfect recipe. It’s missing a key ingredient, vanilla. Very disappointing

​@@llama6238 lol why so harsh? Not to me. I use vanilla extract in almost all my baking. This one doesn't need it. But I'll definitely give it a try. Everyone likes and dislikes whatever it is. Food can be made however we like. You shouldn't be disappointed. Just add it in yourself. The amount of time you took to write this comment, you could have simply taken the vanilla extract from your cabinet and added it. It isn't VERY disappointing if you already know that's how you like it. Many have made this recipe and can't agree with you. It's subjective. Be kind. It would have been better if you said "This recipe is almost perfect for me, but I think it's even better with vanilla extract It's a very important ingredient for me." Or something like that. You take care of yourself.

This is the perfect recipe. kapag kasi na overmixed yung ingredients, magiging spongy at hindi creamy yung flan. Dapat gentle lang yung pagmix like the way she does. 👍

I LOVE how you went straight to the point! Showed us the recipe and helpful pointers (ie not to stir the sugar syrup and such). You kept it short and sweet. You didn’t talk for the first 20 minutes of the video telling us how your hair “doesn’t always look like this“..in all GREAT VIDEO!

Tried this today!! And i must say result was super creamy 🥰 This recipe could make 4 leche flans in medium sized llaneras and I cooked it for 30 minutes. Thanks for this recipe!! I love how it came out ❤️

Just tried out this recipe and its perfect 💜 Its the perfect amount of sweetness, the texture is nicely creamy yet still firm. (I did the steam procedure)

I’ve seen many recipes here in yt, but this one is really the best! Other videos just got many likes because they already have more subscribers, but i have tried this and i love this one the best. It’s not very sweet too like other recipes ❤

The way I cook my leche flan is similar to yours except for two things, I do 3 whole eggs and 7 yolks and second I use lemon rind instead of lemon juice. I also tried including vanilla, but never liked the combination. So I just stick to lemon. There’s fresh aftertaste that I really like. I’m trying now your version of lemon juice 😊

Thank you so much it looked so delicious and I am going to make it right now for my birthday. One thing you didn't show was how to pure the caramelized sugar into the pan but I figured it out for it to be Brown on the flan or flan cake you have to put it in the baking pan first I have to let it dried up. I'll give you 9.5 very detailed, stay simple but to the point and almost to the perfect details. Plus it's my wife favorite Flan or Flan cake. I am also going to grill out some beef lemongrass on a stix, lemongrass stake and buffalo wings. Thank you. Yes i did show everything from caramelization... i did it first before making the flan mixture so it will dried up already when i pour the mixture into it. I make it with 3 whole eggs, and it can be made with only 2 whole eggs, everything else is the same. Comes out perfect every time.

I am preparing a flan this way but I am using a blender to mix all ingredients and strain it to the prepared mold it was always superb, so smooth, soft and firmed.

For me i got the same texture for bake and steam. Just make sure you use a good quality condensed milk. Coz some brands are watery and thus affect the texture of the flan. Thanks for dropping by on my channel

Yes its the same… just make sure to cover it with foil and use low heat when steaming. Remeber… no Overmixing

Thank you so much for this recipe. So far the best video I saw. Is there an alternative you suggest for evaporated milk? Can I instead use more condensed milk, its not always easy to find evaporated milk here. Sorry to take your time.

I guess using more condensed milk will make it too sweet... i tried using fresh milk before but it turn out less creamy... im not sure if a cream mix with fresh milk will give the same result just like using evap. (The mixture should be same amount of evap in case you replace it) thank you so much for watching

*_We use both the yolk and the white when we make our Leche Flan and the result is still perfect, everybody loves it and it has that perfect texture and softness. We just mix patiently using a mixer._* 😊

*_Yes i do have another version of this as well using both the yolk and whites... same technique and ends up great, but using the yolk only will give your flan a perfect smoothness and creaminess all the time_*

she used the yolks to get a dense and smooth leche flan. you can always add the whites but the texture would be a bit different

Hi! I am currently baking one. I used a pie pan and 2 cans of evap milk. After 50mins the flan is still jiggly prob because its thick as i used 2 cans of milk instead. I am extending another 10-15mins of baking. When would i know that its cooked/completely baked?

You can check if the middle part is a liitle bit jiggly (not watery) then that is good ... it will continue cooking while letting it cool down, and will set as well once you chilled it. 😊 Hope this helps🥰

Its just the same naman po result pag nag steam or bake ako... make sure wag mo i overbeat at pag steam, pagkumulo na yung tubig... hinaan mo yung apoy sa lowest heat settings para dahan dahan siyang maluluto.

No need for lemon juice. I made this for so many times and its more deliciouse, tasty and creamy with a smooth texture with out lemmon juice

Thank you for sharing your option...but i love it with lemon coz it remove the “eggY” smell on the flan and also balance the sweetness of it. Some rather want to use vanilla too... and it also fun experimenting other flavors on our recipe. thanks. For watching💗
