Excellent video !!! You taught me so much ! I love the design that you made with the thistles !!! It turned out BEAUTIFUL !! Many thank you’s from Canada ! Julie
Polyurethane Gloss Varnish! Nice how it didn't mess up the details. Very pretty results. I think I will show my granddaughter and see if she wants to do this.
I must try this, all I need is dried flowers. Great as coasters but I am thinking they would look amazing hanging up, they're beautiful show them off 💖
@@LouiseSingletonCreations You are very welcome. Nothing is too small, I love miniatures and trying my hand at making them. Just had a rummage and found dried stuff I collected on walks, got it organised so excited, I am good to try this hahaha 😃
I love your tutorials💕 You produce such wonderful, interesting and unique pieces. I’d love to have a go at lots of your flower themed projects but need to find a good dried flower supply. Look forward to your next beautiful creation- thanks for sharing your expertise
You could make a silicone insert for the coaster moulds instead of making the clay bits over and over. I LOVE your clay work. Do you do any sculpting pieces with it? Loving your channel!
Thank you MissKyle, that’s an interesting thought, thank you. No I don’t actually do much sculpting but I’m glad you like my channel. Thank you for watching x
@@LouiseSingletonCreations Of course! I really enjoy watching your videos and how you share your thoughts/ideas. You’re so creative! It’s very inspiring! Thank you for sharing your gift with us all. 😁💖
Hi Louise, I so much enjoy all your videos! I'm doing a marathon - watching on after the other - you are such an inspiring person. Do you have a website where you have all your art? Thank you for what you do
Hi Keila, what a lovely message, thank you. I find it amazing that people don't get sick of my voice :) I am trying to get my website up and running but I've never made a website before and I'm struggling. I will tell my subscribers in a video just as soon as it is ready xx
Thank you Louise I really love the coasters once I'm finished making my kleidascycle I want to have ago at a large pyramid I'm wondering about using some beaded triangles that I'm not going to use do you think it will work or if you want to experiment will send you some left over pyramid that I've made using size 11/0 seed beads
Thanks for doing such an amazing informative video! I will check your plaster supplies and give this a try! Thank you👍🏼🥰. I don’t use clay and plaster, so want to know what you do with the clay after, reuse over and over?
Thank you. You can reuse the clay however you will have little bits of plaster residue in there so I would only reuse it for the same kind of project (not something that needs to be completely smooth). Make sure you store your clay in an airtight container or bag and if it gets a bit dry you can keep a wet sponge or paper towel in there with it. I have been using air dry clay but potters clay would be better because it keeps wet for longer. I hope that helps.
Hi, you need to let the plaster dry out for as long as possible (up to two weeks) when it is dried out it needs to be sealed (I think I used polyurethane varnish in this video). I hope that helps.
beautiful !. at the time , when you put POP into the mould, did you put on soft clay with impression, not harden one because i noticed how the clay was soft when removed from back at demoulding? clay did not get harden.... pls reply. im a bit confused. this is a lovely artwork.
@@LouiseSingletonCreations oh I see. But then soft clay wouldn't get break or melt or fold up ... Is that why you can use the same soft clay again ? Which clay is it
The plaster doesn’t damage the clay at all and it picks up all the tiny details, it’s amazing really. Yes you can use it again. I use Pebeo white modelling clay. It’s an air drying clay so it is best not to leave it out for too long. Potters clay would be better because it lasts longer and only dries out in a kiln but I couldn’t get any of that.
I liked it but you don't say what you throw on top of the clay written for those who don't understand your language. It's cement or plaster kkkkk👀 translated by Google
