_______________________________________________________________
Quick Recipe for 2-Ingredient Biscuits:
2 Cups Self-Rising Flour Buy it here: amzn.to/3hVknh6
2 Cups Heavy Cream Get some here: amzn.to/2Uvv6Gf
Slowly stir and blend them together just enough to incorporate really well. Do not overwork.
Roll out (or use your hands) to flatten to 3/4 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface (like your counter). Cut with a cup or Biscuit cutter into 12 equal biscuits. Place with their sides touching in a buttered cast-iron frying pan.
Pre-heat the oven to 400 Degrees Fahrenheit while you let the biscuits just rest and rise a smidgen. When oven is hot, place them in and watch for them to be golden in 10-12 minutes.
Pull them out with hot-pads. Smear a bit of butter over the tops and let them cool enough to serve with fresh cream butter and homemade preserves. YUM!

THANK YOU Christa !!! Watched this video yesterday, made a batch of biscuits later on. Followed your advice using All-Purpose Flour with Baking Powder. Biscuits turned out light & tasty !! I have been told many times that ALL FLOURS have an expiration date. The commonly used ones will only last at the most 10 years. Once again Christa, THANK YOU !!! Great video as always !!! I know our Heavenly Father & His Son Jesus Christ, are watching over you !!! The world needs more people like you !!

Thank you so much for this info. I used to make my own baking powder when my mom taught me so long ago. I couldn't remember the amounts of everything and always forget to look it up. I wanted it natural like this. I love your videos and so do my granddaughters that live with me ( they are autistic and love to learn ANYTHING that I did when I was their age.) They love all the different things you can do and I love remembering by watching you. You are calm and peaceful and they will settle down to watch you. God bless you for always sharing the love of God at the end.We REALLY love that part too.You are a gift from God to so many people. Thanks again. Grandma and girls from Texas

I have made the biscuits with just self rising flour and heavy cream and they are delicious!! My granny always makes hers with just self rising flour and plain whole milk. A batch of her biscuits recently sold at a fund raising auction for $75! That is one of my goals in life, to make biscuits like hers. I may never get there, but I will never stop trying. So thanks so much for this video! I am always looking for new ideas to improve my biscuits. God bless!

White Lily Self Rising Flour has Sodium Aluminum Phosphate in it. So it would be best to make your own self rising flour without the aluminum unless you can find self rising flour without added aluminum.

Liked and subscribed from North Pole Alaska here. Good video. I learned to make biscuits in Australia for tea, yes they used self raising flour, it was the first I had ever heard of it. Fun memories. I just bought cream of tarter this week to make baking powder just needed the recipe. 😊

God has a way of lining things up for me. This was a very timely video since i just bought a Grain Mill. I do have some wheat berries in # 10 cans but what i have stored is Hard Red Winter Wheat Berries. Id like to experiment with different kinds of Wheat Berries. The Emergency Food Storage place i bought my Wheat Berries from no longer carries them, so ill have to start looking around online. Any suggestions where to buy W.B. would be helpful. Thanks for this video im going to save it to my Preppers folder.

OMG!!!! This is awesome!.....I don't know how many times I've not had either baking soda or powder on hand though I do try to and usually do.....really great "how to" tips though.......but omg.......heavy cream powder???!!!???!!!.......never knew there was such a thing......I'm in a fairly remote area so it's a bit hard to keep some things I don't use regularly ......heavy whipping cream being one of those......so this revelation is stupendous......omg the things I'll be able to do without having to wait a month until my next store/supply run.....a piece of heaven has descended to earth! You probably have the most helpful channel on YT....it IS....when it comes to me and what I've seen. You are totally awesome......more than a blessing.....often a "life saver" so to speak....and certainly a game changer. Thank you for all you do.....stay safe and healthy.....best to you and yours. 👍👍💖👍👍💖👍👍🌈🌈🌈

I know you haven’t done the biscuit baking video, but I thought I’d just go for it! I am NOT a cook!!! Everything went together easily, AFTER I made my own self-rising flour! 😁. I didn’t know how long to bake them, so I just watched them really closely. I pulled them out after 12 minutes, as they were browning nicely. I had one with butter… tasted great! I’m calling this a WIN! Can’t wait to learn how to actually do them properly!!! Thanks for all your videos!

God Bless your Wonderful Heart, Miss Christa. Looking forward to the biscuit making vid. I have a ? for you. I shy away from corn starch because the corn used may be genetically modified. Is there a cornstarch you are confident is not manipulated, also is potato starch or (?) an acceptable substitute? Thanks so much. : ) Fun Fact .... Cream of Tartar is the leftover, powdery sediment left in the barrel when the wine is removed.
